The restaurant is huge with an inclosed terrace (not heated), a large bar area with a stage and entertainment area, and a two-story dinning area (mucho tables). The entire place feels like a pirate ship with an interior mainly comprised of wood planks and nautical themed items all around. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is fast and thorough. When you reserve a table, you reserve a timeslot, so they ensure you have enough time to enjoy yourself before your timeslot ends. The menu is vast. We enjoyed two large burgers and two large chicken burgers. Large is an understatement. More like gigantic! Before your meal you are treated with an on-the-house pate. After your meal you're similarly treated with an on-the-house shot (multiple flavors, some with and some without alcohol). One caution: if you're like me and don't like stinky cheese, or as I call it, foot cheese, be sure to ask for the chicken burger without it. Additionally, we had two desserts, blueberry cheesecake and the white chocolate lemon cake. Both delicious and both served with homemade whipped cream. One other thing, they don't have it on the menu but they also offer small servings of gelato. Overall, the meal cost €70 plus the €20 for the reservation (€5 per person). The atmosphere is one of a kind and the food is good. Enjoy.

La Gringa was a delicious all American breakfast and brunch spot with the best in the City. Their eggs benedict are out of this world. Oh and when I was missing the typical breakfast potatoes or tater tots, I will go to this magnificent establishment to devour some. Not only that, after living in Madrid for over a year, I had forgotten what amazing customer service and friendly attendance at the table was. The service here is also excellent. I do recommend la gringa and will likely visit again when I come back to Madrid.

Sunday morning brunch, and the place was full by 1230. I got the American breakfast and my wife the huevos rancheros -- she got the better meal. American bfast came w/ a sausage I wasn't too fond of -- off taste for me. However, the bacon was crispy and the potato cakes nice and crunchy on the outside.
