If you like barbecued and slow roasted meat then you'll love the food here. Set in a converted modern barn, there's a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The wood fired ovens face out into the dining area which has lots of different styles of seating; quirky pub style with nothing matching. You pay a flat £25 per head (kids are cheaper) and can them eat as much as you like. There's artisan breads, smoked cold meats and fish, a half dozen or so different meat dishes; we had Thai style chicken, slow roast brisket, sausages, ribs and lamb chops in offer today. Also salads, lentil dish, bean dish and humous. All absolutely delicious. It's very easy to overeat! There's a well stocked bar, coffees and desserts in offer too. Family and dog friendly. On a Sunday they stop serving at 4pm. read more
