Initially, we didn't know what to expect... we just dropped off our clothes in the morning, and this old couple helped us. They weigh the clothes, we paid cash in advance for 10% off, and they told us to come back for same day pick up around 4pm (or you can pick up next day). The clothes came back in a neat package, they are perfectly folded, and no crazy-strong laundry detergent smell (it smells fresh and clean!) We went back a second time because we were so pleased with the quality and service!

This minuscule laundromat has 3 washers and 3 dryers that can handle a large amount of laundry. Prices per load are affordable. Need $5 or $10 coins? There is a change machine that'll help you out. Other things I like about this place: - Open 24 hours - Laundry baskets and small step stool provided for convenience (the dryers can be a bit high for short folks) - They can provide you a receipt via email if you need to claim for business purposes - They are open to feedback. You can leave your comments on their tiny notebook! - Place is clean, machines are easy to operate, and most importantly they all work. Hopefully my washing machine gets fixed soon, but should I need to do a heavy duty load in the future, this will be my spot!

The best place for business cards…read more E-Print is a small print chain making business cards, banners, brochures, stamps (as in chops, not postal). They have a number of convenient locations including Sheung Wan and Wan Chai, as well as an online service, but some ordering processes are only in Chinese. The best thing about E-Print is its simplicity. Yes, you can get business cards printed on textured cream paper using specialist inks - remember that scene out of American Psycho? However, unless you are CK Leung, who cares what the paper texture on your card is like, so long as it has your name and details! The best E-Print service is their standard business card service. For HKD55 you can get 300 matt cards, or for HKD70 the same quantity but laminated so they are slightly waxy. I go crazy and spend a whopping HKD90 for 300 UV spot laminated cards, which have my company logo artwork glossy and raised - fancy! Check out their website for the prices, they are very very good, but do be mindful of where the price breaks come (and check the costs which are not per box but per order). You may for example be better off buying 5 boxes or 10 boxes, but nothing in between, as the cost of 6 boxes is the same as 10 boxes. Turn around times are fast at 1 or 2 working days, depending on whether or not you take the UV spot. More complex designs with die cutting or folding etc. cost more and take longer. As mentioned they do loads of other printing services, so do check them out. I have ordered many times from them and always found their work exemplary.

If you need anything printed, e-print is the best option you have, in terms of speed and price. I…read morehave worked with many times, and more recently on a regular basis. They have shops all over town, if you haven't noticed. They are linked with another company called bannershop - clearly only doing banners. How e-print works, is that they are online, and you can download a program and submit everything online. Once you have submitted everything you need printed, someone from e-print will give you a call to confirm your order, you pay, then the stuff you need will be ready in just a few days. I think their printing facilities might be in china - not sure exactly, their call centres are definitely in china though, which is why they can support such low cost printing. I have had a few problems with the people i dealt with in the past, basically you have to yell at them to get the stuff done.. frustrating, i know.. but has to be done. After everything is confirmed, you can pick up in just a few days. It makes life so much easier, being in hk, everything needs to be done asap, and this is the exact service they provide - asap! They print everything from pull up banners, flyers, promotional material, posters, business cards, basically anything you can think of, they can do. quite amazing in my opinion.

And I'm reviewing it because even though few things can go wrong with a dry cleaner, this is mine and it's good. It does the job. Price wise, like every other dry cleaner in Wan Chai (around 90HKD for four shirts - this seems to be a promotion, but the promotion also seems to be permanent, so it's not a promotion?). Anyway, I picked it because it's two minutes walking from home, but I'd have switch to another one that's three minutes walking had something gone wrong. I don't bring many clothes to the dry cleaner but my boyfriend goes on a weekly basis to get his white shirts cleaned and ironed. They open at 8 in the morning and close at 8 in the evening, a big enough window for us to bring and pick up the clothes, especially in the morning as it's on our way to the tube. The shirts usually come really well ironed and prepared with pegs around the cuffs. It's a little tricky to undo them and they are pretty well fixed but this is better than letting them loose. And what's most important: they come clean and well ironed. As they are usually white, it would have been really noticeable it that hadn't been the case. It's true that I've never brought any tricky-stained piece of clothing, but so far so good. Ah, you can pay with your Oyster there too! Even more convenient.

This was the first laundromat I used when I lived in SYP. This is a perfectly fine and convenient…read moreplace to do your laundry. is it possible to give 3.5 stars? The Good: this is the only do-it-yourself laundromat in this area of HK island. It is open around the clock, so you can go wash your clothing at any hour of the day. There are small stools to sit on while you wait for your laundry to be done. The machines are relatively clean and are effective at washing your clothing. This is very convenient for when you really just have to wash your clothes and your building doesn't have a washer. There are also dryers! Yes, you can actually dry your own laundry instead of having to hang it up in your apartment or up on your roof. They sell detergent and those little laundry dryer fabric softener sheets. The Bad: Because HK is so humid, the dryers are quite humid too. After running my laundry through the dryer twice, the clothing was still quite damp. The dryer windows get very foggy while drying the clothes - something I haven't seen doing laundry in other countries. Having to schlep all of my damp laundry back to my apartment was a pain because the wet clothing was heavy. I'm sure this problem is a non issue during the less humid winter months, but for October I would have had to either run the dryer three to four times OR just given up and dried my clothing at home. I think this place is a great option for those who want the freedom of doing their laundry whenever they'd like, but the humidity situation in the dryers was a deal breaker for me.
