A shipment of high personal value (Ironman World Championship Kona finisher memorabilia) was held in customs and, according to UPS, eventually destroyed. Despite: - multiple written responses - repeated phone calls - payment of import charges - ongoing communication over several weeks I was never clearly informed about any final deadline or imminent destruction. At the same time, tracking showed continuous warehouse activity for weeks, and customer support repeatedly confirmed that the shipment was still being processed. This lack of transparency and contradictory communication is simply not acceptable. To make matters worse, import fees were collected, yet the shipment was never delivered. This case shows a serious gap between process and customer communication. The driver that had to deliver out ordered product told the UPS people that we have moved from where we live so that he doesn't have to deliver the product after 5 o'clock. When we called the company they said that we need to wait for another day or two and that they cannot do anything to him. Worst delivery service possible. Never use UPS. read more

UPS Vienna or even UPS Austria is by far the worst shipping company i ever experienced. Every single parcel that got shipped with UPS didn't arrive on first delivery approach. Most of the time they did not even care to try it a second time and send it back to the consignor. From now on i will order only on websites which do not ship with UPS. read more

Unbelievably incompetent shipping company, at least their Vienna office. Their postman very impatiently left our intercom because the street was too loud and he could not hear. Subsequently, their customer service took a week of awkward, slow attempts of redelivery. read more
