I was taken immediately and my friend sat patiently on a manicure stool to be waited on. The nail technicians including the MANAGER, REFUSED HER SERVICE! Did I mention she is black and I am white? Should I have to? I asked politely several times over the course of a 20 min wait for them to seat her and give her manicure. They refused, and said it was busy - bahaha. I should have gotten up and walked out, but I was trying to give them a chance to give her service....never happened. I don't know if the salon population is prejudiced against black women because no words were spoken, but no apologies extended , and that is certainly what it looked like to me. I considered confronting the manager another day when I was on town, but think much better to tell my friends what happened and let them decide if this is the establishment they want to patronize. I have come to accept discrimination as a fact of life, people judge others, it's not right but I can't forceably change others actions and opinions.
