The wait in line to buy a donut is longer than me walking to the place. I've been here between 6am and 8 am and there's always a line out the door. There are plenty of times where there's half filled boxes stacked like Jenga waiting for donuts. I get the same donuts all the time (glazed, chocolate bar, and jalapeño crescent) and they are always out of them. This appears to be family run and all three ladies are always nice. Best. Donuts. Ever. They are always warm when I get mine and so delicious. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they don't take cards. Cash only. I never carry cash on me anymore so I have to scrounge for quarters. But regardless, I will always choose to go to this place over any other donut shops. There is always a line out the door. Definitely 100% better than the Dunkin Donuts down Mountain. My coworkers love when I go here to pick up some donuts for the office; they're probably the best in town. The times I've gone there's usually a line, but it goes by quickly. The ladies who work here are extremely nice and friendly. They treat the kiddos very well, which I feel is important as every customer should be treated equally :) CASH ONLY Quality of the donuts are absolutely delicious. Tried their donuts at one of my friends parties, amazing! I returned the next day to buy some for a Party I was having. Definitely recommend their donuts and their cream puffs! I think the service could be a little friendlier and they could use a little cleanup in the front area this is why I gave them four out of five stars. Every time I bring my beagles to the vet in this shopping center, I see this donut shop out of the corner of my eye. "Don't stop!"says the angel on my right shoulder. "Go ahead, STOP!" says the devil on my left shoulder. I usually listen to the angel, but a couple of weeks ago, I told her to shut up and locked her in the trunk. But I went back today . . . and they've fixed most of what I complained about! The racks were full to overflowing with shiny, beautifully decorated donuts of all kinds! If "Krispy Kreme" style doughnuts are your style of doughnuts, then this place if for you. The doughnuts here all have that "fresh out of the hot oil" taste to them and are soft, sweet and (if you're getting a non-cake doughnut) slightly chewy. I ordered the following: Glaze doughnut, apple fritter, ham and cheese croissant and sprinkled cake doughnut. The apple fritter was very oily around the edges. All the edge tasted like was oil, and when I crushed a bit of it between my fingers there was more oil than glaze left on them. So I'm not a fan of their apple fritter. The ham and cheese croissant wasn't fluffy and flaky (like I like 'em). It was a good value (at $2.50) but I'd rather pay an addition $1.00 or so to get more than two thin slices of ham in it. The taste of the croissant was yummy, but I wish it was more filling. My niece didn't like the glaze doughnut, but I thought it was BETTER than a Krispy Kreme (because it was bigger and fluffier). But, like I said, you've gotta be a fan of the "Krispy Kreme" style doughnut. When I asked my niece why she didn't like it, she replied that she likes the "big fluffy" (doughy) doughnuts better. She also said it was too sweet (which shocked the heck outta me to hear that coming from her or any kid for that matter). Lol. The sprinkled cake doughnut was perhaps the best thing I ate. It was beautifully crisp on the outside but soft and moist on the inside. It had plenty of frosting and plenty of sprinkles. Averaging out the items I tasted (and shared) I can't rate this doughnut shop higher. As Yelp! indicates, this place is "A-OK" for me, but nothing I'd drive across town for. read more

Upland Donuts is so hyped that maybe my expectations were too high? I wanted to get a dozen ahead of my daughter's bday, so headed down around 5:30 a.m. since I hear they sell out early. Very short line. Scanned the cases, and noticed there wasn't a great selection. Maybe because it was so early? I asked if they had chocolate donuts, and clarified, chocolate cake, but didn't seem to be understood. I kept getting redirected to plain donuts with chocolate icing. I was also hoping for plain donuts with vanilla icing and sprinkles (a childhood fav) but there was only strawberry with sprinkles. They tasted just fine, but the pics here and the hype led me to believe I'd be bowled over by the taste and selection. Ah well. My current local fav is still Pixie Donuts on Foothill. Wish I'd gone to them instead this time. read more
