The only good thing to say is it only cost $10.

I also got a shave and to my surprise here came the lean back and the hot towel. Reminded me of the old days. I was given one of the best shaved with a straight razor I ever had. This review is a combination of both Chaz the Barber and the shop…read more I have followed Chaz from the previous shop he worked at and now at GENTS VII. It's hard to find a barber who gives you consistent cuts and the style you want. After moving to this area and struggling to find a barber, I was glad I came across Chaz who gives consistent, quality cuts. He'll have you looking the way you want. I highly recommend seeing Chaz for a cut as I have for over a year already. The shop itself is a nice modern barbershop. It is clean, the decor is nice and the ambience it gives off is a relaxing welcoming type of feel. It is more of an upscale Gentleman's' barber shop. The barbers there are cool, greeting you warmly when you get there and as you pass by. Nice little lounge area makes waiting for your cut not too bad. For my first visit, I was impressed with the overall layout of the shop. There is also a vintage merch shop located up stairs if that is your sort of thing. I never bothered checking out this shop before, being that it is located in Downtown Sherman and I myself am not a fan of being downtown anywhere. I would say it is worth a trip and glad it took me following. Chaz to this shop to appreciate the location. Looking forward to more cuts here. I appreciate a location like this and barbershop of this style that I was used to going to back home.

As I visited other shop I got a better cut and for half the price. I shown them a picture that I like and I even ask can you use chalk they said "we can line you and I can give you exactly like you want it" the barber never used chalked and totally messed up. I wanted to just leave and walk out. Again over priced and poor job. $55 dollars should be a proper shave and experience like other barber shops. I would have rather them robbed me the old fashion way with a ski mask and 9mm then have paid for this because I felt robbed. Pictures below no fade, mustache is not lined up, the blades felt dull. I hate to even leave reviews but I want people to actually get a good cut/shave and save money. Again for $55 Dollars you deserve more if it was worth it I wouldn't Ming pay, but this is the place.
