Huge letdown.
Was looking forward to visiting this place…read morevery much! My boyfriend and I walked into the fear house very excited, as we both love Halloween.
The ambiance was filled with Halloween decor and music and we headed straight to the bar where we were excited to sit at gravestone chairs.
Two bartenders behind the bar and no one greeted or looked at us for 17 minutes. (As a bartender myself, I counted the minutes). The bartender (blonde with red eyes) actually greeted and served four other people before he even acknowledged us. So ruder
I didn't want to leave because I enjoyed the atmosphere, but right as we were about to get up he came over to get our orders.
I ordered a Negroni, because Monkey 47 gin was the base ingredient (I love this gin, and it's WHY I ordered this Negroni). The bartender began to make my cocktail and used a well/ house gin. I stopped him because I wanted Monkey47, and he gave me a hard time about it.
Honestly, this place is cool but feels like they hate tourists. They even add a 10% service fee. I always tip 15% to 20% (because I'm in the industry myself), but this guy deserved nothing.
