Brianna Bedrosian - The Fine Canine

When we considered training for our 15 week old goldendoodle bella, my two good friends highly…read morerecommended Brianna to me, and I could not be more thrilled with her services. She's very thorough and her experience shows through in her lessons. She taught us lots of training tips and asked me to write down all the notes to practice at home. From day one after her training, bella started to master the concept of various commands, and she has been a lot more responsive, especially around distractions. The in home lessons that she offers is exactly what we were looking for for our puppy. She not only has helped train our puppy, but also helped train our handling skills. The two hours with Brianna has boosted my confidence to raise the best dog for my family. I can't say enough about Brianna, and we absolutely love her

Brown Veterinary Hospital

Brown Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Beth Brown is by far the best DVM in the Vigo County area. She cares deeply for each pet that…read morewalks through her doors. She is extremely intelligent, has great people skills and goes above and beyond. I do think people expect perfection from her. She is not God. Her staff is very good and informative. The clinic is clean and welcoming. They have some adorable clinic cats. Their cat Binx is in the photo. I think there are somethings people need to remember when it comes to Brown Veterinary Hospital: First is that sometimes there are waits because there are emergencies that come into that clinic. The reception staff is pretty good at communicating with clients when that sort of things happens. Second would be that they cannot fix your pet for free. I know for a fact that Dr. Brown would, but medication, X-ray and medical equipment all cost a lot of money. And on top of that, she has to pay all of her employees and the bills. So as much as I'm sure they'd like to help every pet for free, they unfortunately cannot. Lastly, these people got into this business because they love animals. They treat every pet as their own. I guarantee you they are not in it for the money. This can be a very difficult job and they do it beautifully.

Me and my cat (who is a ESA) visited Brown for the first time. I have taken her to multiple vets…read moremultiple times they've always given her glowing review saying she's always so good at shots and at exams. I took her to Browne and they told me she was acting up and going crazy. They separated us when knowing a cat is very attached and emotional. They acted like she was the worst cat they've ever seen and that she was just terrible. My cat is the most calm/lovey cat i have met (mainly to strangers) and she's only gotten glowing reviews at vets and the best they've ever seen and everything else. I took her to Brown only because they were the only who had availability at a time and since i recently moved to Terre Haute, I found that they were just the best vet all around and hardest to get appointments from all the people I've heard from. They made me wait for over 30 minutes to an hour after our scheduled appointment time, separated me and my baby and told me she was acting terribly. I don't believe they ran all the test that they said they did and charge me so much for. they gave me diet food for her and so much more when a simple examination would've sufficed . They charged over $300 for nothing. a $30 examination would've told me everything and after everything, they told/ charged me for nothing that was causing the problems we were fighting. They told me everything came out perfectly fine. her problems kept happening. I had to figure it out all of my own, what was happening to her. I'm very disappointed in the service they provided and will not be coming back.

My dog was handled roughly, resulting in expressed anal glands and poorly clipped nails. To add insult to injury, I was still charged for the service. Other times I requested to have his nails trimmed, I would have to ask repeatedly before it got done. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from the kennel in April. I boarded my dog for five days and specifically requested a flea and tick bath, ice cream, photographs, and a massage. However, when I picked him up, I was told that the photos were sent to my landline number the day of pickup. To add insult to injury, I found a huge tick on my dog's shoulder that evening, which makes me question whether he even received the flea and tick bath. The kennel offered me a refund for the photos, but I never received it or even the photos. When I called to check on him, someone other than the front desk person answered after the 9th attempt and told me that my dog was 'NOW okay', which really upset me because I had been worried about him. I asked them to explain, and they suggested that I talk to somebody else. So, they got that person, and they essentially gaslighted me into thinking that my dog was fine. However, when I called back, I was told that the groomer had answered the phone and didn't know my dog or what was going on with him. I'm not sure what to believe - was the groomer telling the truth, or was she just saying that to cover for everyone else? I should've listened to my dog when he got on the counter and asked me to hold him. I didn't regretfully. My dog's "4th of July dog party" experience was a real bite - literally! Despite promises of photos and fun, my dog was absent from the pics, and I later discovered puncture wounds and welts on his neck and back. What's concerning is that the staff never disclosed the cause of these injuries, whether it was a fight or just a play bite from another dog. Furthermore, there was no mention of this on the daily report card they provide when I pick up my dog. When I asked for photos of my dog, they never posted any and deleted my comment. They claimed my dog ran away from the camera while simultaneously posting dogs running. This lack of transparency has me worried about the care my dog is receiving. After pickup from daycare, he often has a hoarse bark and needs to urinate urgently. Even urinating by the front door as we exited. I've also noticed he's extremely thirsty, drinking up to 16 ounces of water in the parking lot before going home. They have photos of him foaming at the mouth in the play yard. Sometimes he barks nonstop on the ride home, only to need to poop as soon as we get home. Don't kennels usually take dogs out to pee and poop within 12 hour time frame? Little inconsistencies in care can add up fast whenever it comes to your pets needs. Posted on the front door is a sign stating they only offer holistic and safe items, but they've installed tires and recycled tire materials for the dogs to play and run on. Tires are not holistic or natural. Artificial turf can heat up to a scorching 180 degrees in the summer. I would suggest you do some research before you start using this facility. *5 star Google reviews from current employees like the one left by Saryn_1 is a conflict of interest.
