This place is a hidden gem. My daughter needed inexpensive tires and they really pulled through. They have helped several family members and they have always had a low cost used tire on site. Bought 4 new tires for the rig, not a recognized brand but...Michelin makes this tire. Heavy duty 10ply, 126Q, "E" load range. I use the truck usually when camping, has a camper on it. Anyway one of the tires got a bubble within a year, 1500 miles? I bought a new one from United, next short trip I had a blowout on the Donner Pass, fully loaded Etc. I have a suspicion that although "new" the tires were old. I think the date says 2012. Not cool on a 2021 purchase. The guys are friendly there and have good prices. I am going to have him explain the date code before I consider a lawsuit. Check the date on tires you buy. Lesson learned the hard way. read more

Ran over a nail and lost most of the air pressure over night. I had to be somewhere. United Tires and Brakes were not my only option but I wanted to support my local community and they were also located in a less congested area of Carmichael. Thank God. These guys were friendly and fast. They repaired my flat and checked all my tires' pressure. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. For your tire and brake needs, I recommend these guys. I left America's Tires on Sunrise with 2 wheel studs miraculously missing. Called this place and asked for a quote for two stud replacements. He gave me a quote, and I decided to use their services. I went in the next morning and got my two new studs done in a timely manner and at an affordable price. The gentleman were nice, and so far so good. They are 5 minutes from my house, so will continue to use them for our tire needs. read more

They did get us good pricing initially but when we got a flat tire a few months later, the warranty they said we had suddenly did not apply. They said they would offer me a "discount" on a new tire. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that the company has to cover it because it is covered under the manufacturers warranty and that they know that they have to cover it. United tires and wheels did not want to cover it and I had to fight them to get them to do their job. They said they will cover it but he acted like he's doing me a favor, when in reality they aren't. I just tried to talk to them on the phone about ordering tires and rims for my 1955 Chevy. The gentleman on the phone had zero patience for finding out what I needed. I had the tire and rim size, bolt pattern and off sets for him as well as the rim brand and style. All I asked for in the tire was raised white lettering wasn't particular on brand of tire. I called them because my son recently had his tire fixed there and I thought, ok I'll give a local guy some business. All he kept saying was no, we don't have it and hung up on me. this place is where I bought four tires- including the spare and a rim so my kid would have a spare to have the ER service change out when her tire got a pinch. They gave me an excellent price for the lot and took a very short time in getting the car sorted. I was looking them up this time because my tire is cracked, not her tires buy mine. I have to go and get my car sorted now. Would not go anywhere else! (and I have been to the other more 'popular' locations and was not impressed at all, to the point I was told by my trusted mechanic that my car ( Hers ) did not have any new tires when I had just bought one from the place, which is why I am sold on this location and company. I have to warn you about this place. Last year I came here to get some used tires because my car is old and I wasn't sure whether I wanted to keep it or not. I bought a couple of used tires here over a couple of visits. The tires didn't last very long and I found that they were barely roadworthy to begin with. Really, they were dangerous and shouldn't have been sold with the defects they had at the time of sale. Now with different tires on the car, I happened to have a flat. These tires were installed by my reputable old reliable source. I don't blame them for the flat, it just happened. So, when I went to my trunk to get out my jack and spare; I found that jack was missing and my spare, which was a full size tire was now one of those small doughnut emergency spares.Undaunted I walked about 3/4 mile in the rain to a Walmart and bought a jack and returned. I jacked the car up and installed the emergency flat. I drove about 500 ft and then found that was flat now too. I had to have the car towed. I can't say for absolutely certain that the jack and spare switcheroo happened here because I hadn't looked at the spare in a long time but, nothing like this has ever happened to me before, until I did business with these folks. read more

So I just left this place. I pulled up because it's close to my home and I would rather keep my money local. There are two guys at the counter, no other cars. One was on the phone the other offered to help me. I told him that I was having a problem with the front driver side. He stands at the office door and tells me my tire looks fine. He didn't ask any discovery questions, like what the problem was, did I put air in it, nothing. I told him thanks for his time and I would take my business elsewhere. THEN HE WANTS TO ASK IF I WANT HIM TO LOOK AT IT. I already asked you to do that, I said I was leaving. The horrible thing is nobody hold you accountable for providing good customer service when you own your own business, your pockets hurt but there is nobody to tell you to do better. These guys definitely need to learn to do better. I guess I will be spending my money for my tire needs with a corporate business where they can't be ass hats because they don't want to be bothered.
