So you are looking at churches in the area, huh? That is a good thing. There is a lot going on in…read morethe world today so it is a great time to renew your faith and get yourself grounded in the Lord. By the looks of things, the Lord's return is soon! If you are looking for a church close in town I would suggest you visit this church. It might be a good fit if you are looking for something fairly traditional yet have a contemporary styled service. They have multi-media screens as well so you don't have to fumble through a hymnal. They have been on a growth curve for the past 3-4 years and now have 3 services. I believe they are Sundays 9, 10:30 and 4:30 pm. Come early or you will likely have to park out on the street. Seating is a bit full for the 10:30 service. They are friendly and upbeat. Expect to be greeted by a number of friendly faces. The senior pastor, John Dickerson, is young, sharp and focused. His sermons are easy to follow and to the point. He provides a fill in the blank outline to help you follow along and take notes. He also shares the pulpit with other pastors so you will get a good variety of teaching. They have just added a new pastor to the staff as well. They have a vibrant children's ministry as well as adult Sunday school and a variety of other Bible studies and ministry activities throughout the week. Praise the Lord.

Much more conservative and in my perspective in line with the church that Christ established. On the Reredos in marble is engraved Ego sum via et verity's et vita. Have to go to cottonwood or Dewey for it. Which is wonderful. For true followers of Christ as opposed to fans of Christ. May God Bless you all.

The music was holy, reverent and inspiring. The homily (sermon) was relevant and made you think. They have a ton of ministries and ways to get involved! They also have a pre-school - see their website for more details. According to their website, this parish has been around since 1877 AD! See more about this parish's history via their website - fascinating! One of the coolest things about being Catholic is: WE REMEMBER the WOMEN who carried the Cross of Christ! The NUNS! For the women who read this: be you non-Catholic or non-believers, I wholeheartedly INVITE you to examine the history of women in the Catholic Church! Start with all of the women in the Old Testament, then Our Blessed Mother, Mary, who carried and brought Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ INTO this world. We Catholics treasure equality with our sisters IN Christ! Trust me on this - Good & True Catholic Men ALWAYS respect Our Blessed Mother Mary and ALL women! We understand and rejoice in the fact that women complete men! God created us in His image and set forth His plan: men and women literally join together as ONE BODY to create new life! Both sexes participate in creating new life! Equality! I sincerely encourage all interested or curious people to check-out the Catholic Church; see for yourself. Trust me - it could lead to a life-changing, soul-filled adventure to heights, depths and realms you cannot possibly imagine! That's how it was for me...
