My experience overall was very easy to navigate. Saeed answered all my questions and even provided water for me and my dog when we needed it. His van was very clean and comfortable; I was able to rest on the drive after all the airport travel. Thank you, Saeed and UK & Europe Pet Taxi! Sameen was also a great presence to be around. I had a very nice talk with him and he came in clutch being able to pick me up last minute. I wish them only the best! Katie helped walk me through the booking, cheers!
After little sleep in an expensive hotel due to a fire alarm, I travelled out of town to relax…read morebefore my long flight back from UK to Australia. Of course, this meant I didn't have any accommodation set up in advance. But the lovely Albanian taxi driver who met me at Canterbury West station rang some hotels while driving me to others to find a suitable room during Freshers Week (who from Australia knows what that is?) with most places fully booked. I really needed two nights in the one spot so I wouldn't have to drag myself out of bed by someone else's timetable. With plenty of drunk students roaming the midnight streets, it really was wonderful to have such a taxi driver turn around the image of being taken advantage of when vulnerable in an unknown city. Many thanks (& I know other customers have been very happy too because of the calls coming in while I was in his car and he had other drivers look after them for him). Only sorry I didn't ask his name to thank him here personally.

I get told that would cost me £25, implying I would get a discount because its normally £30. I was disgusted and offended that a simple car ride would result in profit mongering. What an amazing discovery…read more We did not plan on or know about this museum. I wanted to visit the visitor center so that we could get a map and hopefully use the restroom and to our surprise. There was the Dover museum. It is free, but donations are always welcomed and there is a box up front. There are several floors and it tells about the history, the beginning of Dover, the military importance to the town and overall just a lot of great information and bonus, a life-size polar bear. Definitely start your day out here you'll understand more about the town and the history. I absolutely loved on the top floor. There is a hands on display and you can turn the wheel and it looks like moving pictures so it's like drawings that spin around that are running. That was really neat. There were staff throughout the museum, but no one was bothering you. We didn't have any questions so we didn't really interact with them. You could spend 10 minutes in here or you could spend two hours depending on what you want. I think we were in there probably for about 30 to 45 minutes. We were in no hurry.
