Julie Coffin and her amazing team at Unique Floral Expressions ("UFE") made our wedding dreams come true. I don't feel wholly-qualified to write this review because flowers were the one aspect of our wedding where I let my wife have complete control in terms of vision and decision-making. Julie and UFE flawlessly brought that vision to life.
I think the following clip from our wedding film, where our planner revealed our reception room to us, says it all (the following links to the moment of the reveal): https://youtu.be/CI_EuQh3J1s?t=1498. I was, for the most part, speechless and felt like I was living in a dream.
The color scheme was ivory, cream, and white with hints of blush peach and blush pink. The theme/vision was classic and timeless with modern flair, "bring the garden inside!"
Julie and UFE provided so much: my wife's bouquet, the bridesmaids and groomswoman's bouquets, my boutonniere, the groomsmen and bridesman's boutonnieres, my dad's boutonniere, the flower-girls' flower crowns and baskets filled with rose petals, the altar arrangements, the aisle adornments, our welcome sign adornment, the guestbook/gift table flower arrangement, the escort card table flower arrangement, arrangements for our highboys/cocktail tables, our estate table (more on this amazing piece below), linens for the estate table, reception centerpieces, small end table arrangements, cake decoration, candles (lots of candles), and draping.
Our wedding trailer captures almost all of what I described above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCchwS6dAZs&list=PLrr0d7WQIs3zYGvkIWkiihoFhVHPfCqfg&index=2.
The estate table, which was my wife's idea, was "the showstopper in the room!" It was a 32-foot-long table that sat my wife, me, and our wedding party + their spouses. 24 people total (it actually was designed to seat more). The estate table looked magical. It had candles galore, both suspended in the air and on the table itself. The wedding party bouquets were repurposed and placed into vases on the estate table. The estate table was a big reason why we chose not to have a photo booth. The estate table itself was an amazing photo backdrop that many of our guests took photos of and with.
UFE was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Jordan Xu of Emily Jordan Events: https://www.yelp.com/biz/emily-jordan-events-atlanta. Jordan had Julie and UFE do the florals for her own wedding in North Carolina. If that isn't a seal of approval for UFE, I don't know what is. Jordan recommended and connected us with only the very best vendors and the very best people.
We first met with Julie in-person at her East Cobb office in October 2018 for our wedding which was originally scheduled for May 2020. Julie stuck with us through *two* postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic. First, from May 2020 to May 2021. Then, from May 2021 to April 2022. She never wavered nor let us down.
During the pandemic, Julie delivered flowers and treats to healthcare workers. The flowers from our wedding were donated to hospices.
My wife, Rebecca, and I can't thank Julie and her fantastic team at Unique Floral Expressions enough. Julie was an absolute pleasure to work with; a truly nice, genuine, down-to-earth, and wonderful person. She's also mind-blowingly good at what she does. She's an incredibly skilled and talented professional, a heavy-hitter in the Atlanta wedding scene, and was part of our "Dream Team" of wedding vendors. I also love that she's a fellow Georgia Tech alum. Rebecca and I will forever be in awe and appreciative of Julie and her team's hard work. They got it done.
To Julie and UFE: Thank you for making our dreams come true and thank you for the terrific memories that we will cherish forever! read more
