Incredible place. Very well stocked and organized. They have sales on different days so you can plan ahead to save more. The condition is variable from poor to new with tags. Overall worth a visit. Some casual brands... Zara, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Keen, Naturalizer, etc.

Plenty of holiday decorations.

Pretty good thrift store. It's quite huge, so there's a lot to choose from. Things are well organized. They offer clothes, shoes, coats, kitchen items, electronics, books, kids toys, curtains, seasonal decorations, and furniture. Some things are not worth it so it's good to have a since of awareness of the current value for things. For example, I saw a used crock in good shape, barely used pot for $13, but you could get a brand new for $19 in Walmart. They have specific discount days on certain days of the week for increased savings.

I needed somewhere to voice a formal complaint with this store. In my opinion, what they are doing is selfish and wrong. This store used to be a fun place to find gems and hang out with friends. Unfortunately now, it is an overcrowded mess where you can find things that you could buy brand new for $10 for $100. The last time I was at the thrift store, I saw a poster for sale for $900. Calling this a thrift store is not accurate - they are taking advantage of their customers. They use Google Lens to research the items they get for free and mark up the costs tenfold (singular flat sheets for $20, jackets for $39.99, pants for $40...) - but this is not a consignment or antique mall, no, they still label themselves as a "thrift store". You can't even argue the sustainability of thrifting because the items aren't good quality/natural fibers/long lasting. They have Shein for $15. When I asked about the $900 poster, they (including the manager) could not explain the high price and could also not direct me to how to the chose that price for the item/why it was worth so much. They seemed annoyed with me asking. It feels sad and shady that they are making thrifting inaccessible and I hope this review sheds some light on how they can make things better. They need to keep the store organized, lower prices, and be kind to customers. Goodwill is a much better option as they have pricing per item type which avoids markups for brand names.

Love how big it is however, it's not as clean as other stores and there are no dressing rooms. Size ordered is nice and the individual pricing is a blessing and curse for some things. I wouldn't go here if you're a reseller but if you have to time to hunt for some gems this is the place!

Ask the Community - Unique

Do they accept used bicycles?

They do sell used bicycles at Unique. They typically displayed them in the front of the store. Not sure where they have them now.

What day is senior day, and what is the discount? Do they give military discounts?

Senior day is on Tuesday and they offer 30% discount. You have to tell the cashier that you are a senior and they do not automatically apply the discount. For them a senior is 50+.

Do they accept returns?

They accept exchanges within 14 days of certain items like clothing and shoes.

Do they accept books?

Yes

Do they have apple pay?

No. It's cash or card. It's also self service

Do you have any 48" hope chests?

They had a cedar chest that could be used as a hope chest last week. Not sure about measurements.

Are there dropoff hours?

Have seen people do drive by dropping off during regular business hours.

Do they have Funko pop?

Not sure what that is. Apologies.

Do they have squishies?

no

Otherwise the store is well played out and service is impeccable! Viola was more than helpful and made several suggestions and also provided options and selections. Was offered water while I waited and browsed. I was able to buy the specific product I was looking for after ordering it. The value of having a personal concierge who looks out for items is highly recommended and appreciated! Prices/value are as expected and very transparent.

After waiting 5-7 minutes at the entrance to empty store I was greeted by sales, who asked what brings me in. I told I need to try and choose perfume for lady in her fifties. We came to cosmetic part and she didn't know anything, literally anything, about perfumes. She explained that cosmetics sales person is off. Once I sprayed perfume to try the smell she ran away saying she had ALLERGY. How you suppose to work or trying to sell something if you have allergy? It's like swimming coach who having water phobia.Giving their prices, this is totally unacceptable behavior. I ended up calling manager and she found product and sold me what I needed. I can't recommend to stay away from this store, because it's the only boutique in whole area, but this type of customer service can't be tolerated even in ice cream shop, not elite place like this.

I stopped by The Shoe Shoppe in Tysons because I have a pair of slingback heels that I love, but…read morethe back strap constantly slips off my foot and makes them almost impossible to walk in. I really wanted to wear them to my cousins wedding and this shop came recommended. I originally thought the strap needed to be shortened, but the staff suggested a different fix. They told me that adding a pad under my foot and a non-slip band on the strap would solve the issue. It helped a little, but not completely leaving me somewhat disappointed. In addition to not receiving a complete fix, what really disappointed me was the service or lack thereof. The man working there barely looked up from what he was doing and never asked me to try on the shoe to see the problem for himself. He gave short, vague suggestions and seemed uninterested in actually helping. I had to walk back and forth to the shelves three separate times to find the products he mentioned, rather than him taking a moment to show me where they were. The whole interaction felt dismissive and rushed. The shop itself is tucked away inside Tysons Mall, so it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. While it is convenient if you are already nearby, I would not make a special trip back. For a store that specializes in shoes, I expected more attention and care. The experience left me unimpressed and still struggling with the same pair of shoes.
