Fundamentally, this place does not know how to run a business. They set appointments, confirm them, and then move them without confirming with the customer. I have shown up for scheduled appointments and been told the dentist is on vacation. Multiple incidents of them just not honoring their own schedule. When confronted, the response was "we left you a voicemail". Nope, didn't happen. Furthermore, that's not how appointments work - I also have a schedule. I asked the dentist to discuss it and he is apparently too important. I can overlook the location in a run down strip mall and the 1990s equipment. I can overlook whitener sold past its sell by date. I cannot overlook disrespect for my time. read more

Dr. Vo is a dentist I would wholeheartedly recommend to anybody. I didn't have an established dentist in the area and made a new patient appointment over phone. I had a cleaning scheduled and also needed a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Vo did both appointments and he was so so so so SO gentle after I stressed to him I had a bad time with anesthesia application when I lived in Shanghai. He was extremely gentle numbing me - the whole process probably took 30 minutes until he deemed me ready to begin extraction. Extraction itself went smoothly. I have been going to Unique dental care since 2015. It's been 7 years already. Consider my review for the entire time period :). Also, I never changed my dentist in those 7 years, speak volumes about their work. All those years, I have been seeing Dr. Jasmine Le, she is amazing. I have also seen Dr. Mark Vo, he has been amazing too. I took different services such as regular cleaning, deep cleaning, mouth guard fitting. They are extremely professsion and I never had any complains. I did refer them to my family and friends. They don't have any complains either. In all those years, I never had to wait for more than 5 mins. Never had any issues with insurance or billing. Always got plenty of reminders before the appointments. Both the dentists are really experienced, polite and always made me comfortable. They are located at a prominent location near El Camino in a shopping complex with plenty of parking. It's funny that there are great options to eat in the same complex and over the years, I would get my teeth cleaned and then immediately get them yellow stained with the yummy Dosa from next door restaurant. That restaurant got closed in pandemic, but still many are aroud, overall a great location. I wouldn't change a thing! read more

My husband and I have been the patients of the clinic for at least 4 years and all we can say is "THEY ARE THE BEST". Dr. Lee and Dr. Vo are not only amazing doctors but they are definitely the most supportive and accommodating ones! I had many issues where they graciously accepted me right away (including on a Christmas holiday) and treated my problems. They both have the lean solution approach so never push you to go through treatments for the sake of financial interest. They genuinely care about their patients where I got some advice on my kids and other topics from Dr. Lee. Dr Le, I am a patient of Dr Mark and I had to put a bad review on you for a strange reason because you interfere and control who can be your husbands' patients. Every patient has the right to choose their dentist and at your Dental facility you are interfering with that basic right. It is sad you don't get the point not to interfere with your husbands' patients. There are multiple other patients here complaining about you as well and only common theme is that they are complaining about you and not your husband because you have a bad mouth. You never said thank you for the patient referral as well and the reason being that I want them to be under the dental care of Dr Mark so that they get a better care and not to worry about your yelling. Also, I never changed my dentist the past 15 years and shown some gratitude to Dr Mark until you become involve and deleted my last referral contact details when I try to re-schedule an appointment and calling me that my referral is a stranger, and you are totally aware that it was my referral. Also, I can see many of your staff come and go for the last 15 years and I bet not many of the staff couldn't handle your bad mouth. You use the maximum out of my insurance as well for the last 15 years and didn't show me any gratitude. It is a privilege to have a customer at the dentist office and not the other way around and you attitude towards customers will pay off one day. Also I never received a call back from Dr Mark when I wanted to make a complaint about your dental practice and shame on you. read more

It's a great place. Very polite, courteous and mildful of a child's reactions. They dealt with my child really well and did not make the child feel uneasy or scared. Always mild in their behaviour, they were not trying to upsell anything and kept the child engaged while giving parents the rundown on the treatment. I really recommend this service. read more

My family and I have been going to Dr. Le for the past 12+ years. She's patient and kind and I was very happy to have my kids see her when they came along. Aside from her awesome skills (I once fell asleep during my 2-hour root canal procedure, yes, she's that good!), she's always happy to discuss our dental plans and patient with our squirmy kids. Just recently, my older son needed some cavities filled. In the total 4 procedures, Dr. Le was professional and kept complimenting my son. I called in the AM to check availability. I got the contact information from my Dental provider and they were the first contact to answer the phone. She took my information and the information of my insurance. Gave me appt times for the upcoming days. After calling my regular dentist back to have them send over my files and x-rays, they answered and she offered me a time to come into the office within the hour. I was able to get everything situated, and after finishing up a meeting rushed over and they got me in right away. Filled out all the paperwork (to be expected) and they were great. Got me in the chair within 10 min of getting there and after x-rays was able to see Dr. Lee within a few minutes. She was great with recommendations and what she thought I should do and the other choices I had. Also let me explain my situation and she explained how they could help me down the road if anything else happened. I would recommend this office and dentist (I saw Dr. Lee) to anyone! They were helpful and I think I called them maybe 5 or 6x before we got everything set up. I have been going here for years and my teeth are in mint condition! :) I take good care of my teeth anyway but with their help, I take even better care of them. The staff is SO friendly and they do a very good job. The place inside is also very high-tech, the last place I had been going to looked like a place out of the 80s and the service was even worse. They helped fix the overcrowding on my bottom teeth and now I have a beautiful straight smile. I never mind making my visits to the dentist. In fact, I sometimes look forward to it because with the the Starbucks nearby I can treat myself afterward. read more

They are just awesome. I have been their customers for almost 6 years now and they have taken care of my teeth very well. They are very caring, gentle calm and very patient. It is definitely hard to find the right dentist or any professional for that matter. Unique Dental Care (Dr. Le and Dr. Vo) is really as good as it gets. My family and I have been coming to Unique Dental Care for years and we've always enjoyed our interactions with Dr. Vo, Dr. Le, and their staff. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Unique Dental Care. They definitely possess that human element that a lot of professionals lack. They are passionate, extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, understanding, and overall just plainly AWESOME. They are really honest and accommodating to find the best solutions for me and my family. The teeth cleaning, though never pleasant, were totally manageable because they are a VERY GENTLE DENTIST. They are very easy to get along with, work gently, have a great sense of humor, tells me what I'm doing right and what I can do better as far as tooth care, and I can honestly say that they genuinely care about my health. It's not necessarily a doctor's job to care, but it's not too tough to choose between a doctor who cares about their patients and a doctor who doesn't. Still no clarification on the extra charges and instead they are asking me to pay for the x-ray film which insurance doesn't cover (and they say they checked with the insurance, and were told 100% covered). And I had to keep hearing from them that 'Anthem is not a good insurance' in these exact words. read more
