Union Street in Bath is a narrow passage with numerous shops to explore. you'll find the small and quaint Union Union Passage also cuts through The Corridor shopping arcade.
Although the buildings in this passage are not medieval, they do sit on the footprint of the ancient buildings and the passageway, which was designed to allow an Ox pulling a cart to turn around and not block the path. This was to ensure reinforcements could get to the walls quickly should it be needed.
