They will try to squeeze every single cent out of your pockets. Try your best to fight back,…read morebecause they will try to get as much money from you as possible and hope that you don't fight back, you should as most off the time you will save some money because they KNOW they are taking alot of money from you.

If I could give a minus review of this company I would. I did the fixed term lease with SHA. I was…read moretold that things would get fixed quickly, not once was anything fixed on time. I would have to wait literally weeks. As of this review being published (12/12/2022) I am still waiting for them to send out someone to repair the dishwasher as it didn't work when I moved in. There was a nearly month long period where the elevator didn't work and all the tenants would have to use the fire exits just to get out of the building and it was only after multiple complaints that they did something about it. My fridge didn't work for the first few months and when i complained about it in my first week of living here, i was told "the fridge was tested in 2020 and was fine"... 2 years ago. Then it was discovered that the wiring in the wall wasn't even done correctly, so they had to send repairmen out on multiple days where i had classes (online course) and had to drown them out while they were working on the faulty electrical stuff They expect a 96 dollar fee to replace the crappy easily scrambled swipe cards that you have to use to get into the building and again as of this review being published because I refuse to pay it, they still haven't given me another and have had to sleep in my car once because of this. Laundry that you have to pay to use that is way more expensive then the laundromat that is literally down the road. extra 150 on top of the overpriced rent (827 a month as of this writing and which is going up to over 1k next year) to park your car, and I am now fighting the council to get over 2k of fines quashed because I cant park my car anywhere else (all spots taken) but in the front street. (maximum time limit of 2 hours parking out the front) Multiple breaches of renters rights, Advertising spaces before you have even moved out and giving you no notice for inspections when the absolute minimum they have to give you for open inspections is 48 hours. Soon this will only cater for rich students whose parents can pay their bills for them, or students that will have to work 3 jobs just to afford the price for their glorified cardboard boxes so people studying wont be homeless. My lease is up in 2 months, ill be leaving and never looking back and I doubt I will get my entire bond back or at all because word is from other ex tenants is they will pick at defects that were already there when you moved in to take money out. Stay well away from these people. Get a share-house with other students and avoid this company, plenty of honest alternatives out there that aren't corrupt people that see people as cash cows. Absolute rort.

HORRIBLE... I've…read morebeen living with cockroaches for months (actually I saw one at night of the first day I moved in after I've signed the contract)... I talked to the management while they heartlessly asked me to buy pest control myself with a smiling face. And today I saw a mice... Also, the bathroom is shared. Not only with other residents, but also with moths and all kinds of wired creatures. You will also share the kitchen with the sparrows. Besides, the heater is time limited, you have to remember to press the button every several hour to keep your room warm in winter. Plus, I don't know what's wrong with their fire alarm. It has rang about 10 times (3 time at midnight) since I moved here with no actual danger. The loud noise of the alarm seems more harmful then the fire threat, it mights hurts hearing. Moreover, the internet is not only expensive ($39.95 for 30000 MB) but also INCONTINENCE . It allow you to connect ONLY ONE device at a time. So if you want to use internet on tablet while your laptop is connected to the line, you have to: first, login to the portal on your tablet; second, select disconnect button in the portal for your laptop; third, re-login to the portal; forth, select connect button in the portal for your tablet. I can write even more complains for this horrible accommodation.... The rent is $1083 per month for a single room.

My partner lives in this building so I'm constantly in and out of the place…read more Although his apartment is in a relatively well-maintained condition, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the other rooms available weren't. The building itself is not bad, but it's some the people living inside this student accommodation where the problem lies. It seems as though they have no respect for the place or the other people living in it. Cleaners only come once a week, which wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for the idiot/inconsiderate tenants that decide it's okay to leave rubbish in the middle of the hallway (such as empty bottles and wrappers). It stays there for the entire week, and the owners of the rubbish happily walk past it day in day out without a care. Even the lift has scrunched up papers and wrappers in it, I mean...seriously? The type of people that live here must be idiots. Last week the fire alarm went off and we were required to exit via the stairwell, we discovered to our horror that on one of the floors someone had continuously left their rubbish! Yes, bags upon piles of bags of rotting stinky rubbish! And no, it wasn't like papers and recycling items, it was real rubbish with rotting food etc. I have no idea who thinks it would be okay to leave rubbish in a stairwell, not only is it a fire hazard (because it was blocking half the platform), but it's plain stupid and shows the lack of care some of these tenants have for the place. If this place managed to get rid of the retards, it would be very livable. For now, we just put up with the sights and smells and pray whoever doing it gets struck by lighting.

Unilodge has charged me the wrong monthly rent since the day I moved. Every time I paid the figure…read morei was told for the month, (monthly rent changes according to number of days in a month). However when i ask about how much i have to pay the following month. They tell me I still have rent owning for the previous month. How is that possible when i paid the exact figure they asked me to. Everytime i went to confront management about g this issue, just so they would get the amount right each time they would say they are currently looking into it as a way of stalling the settlement of the issue. All in all, they are never accountable with your money, charge you for everything possible, and would put all blame on you just so they do not have to bear any responsibility or incur any charges.

This place sucks!! They made me move to another unit when my contract is about to end less than 1…read moremonth, and gave me the notice only 2 weeks before the date I had to vacate the unit and move to another unit, which meant I had to move my things 2 times! On the top of that, I had to cut my internet line, and had no internet line at the new unit! I asked for compensation for at least the internet connection, since the owner made me move out before the contract ends, but no.. the fucking unfriendly receptionist leisurely said, "we can't do anything about it" and claimed that I was so lucky that I only need to move across the room. End of discussion. No effort whatsoever. Seriously, this is the worst renting experience in my whole life. I've never felt being treated this unfair ever. I didn't do anything wrong, paid rent on time, and never caused any problems. DO NOT consider renting at Unilodge. Your contract means nothing. They can do anything they want, evict you in their convenience, and don't care about your rights. They only care about their rights and always cover up their mistakes. Fuck you Unilode! Fuck you receptionist bitches!!!
