But I was so happy when I arrived at the sunscreen section of the pharmacy - so many options that are reef safe, and not tested on animals!! I ended up going with the Natio SPF 50 sunscreen as it had been recommended by a friend. The 'screen was regularly priced at $15.00. The customer service here is truly exceptional. When I was taking a gander at all the options, an employee came over to me and asked if I had any questions or needed any help. I told her I was just taking a look and she told me where she would be if I needed help. When I checked out, the woman behind the counter could tell by my American accent that I wasn't local, and she took the time to warn me about the sun here and told me to just make sure to reapply sunscreen when I'm in the sun. The pharmacy is small but still has a great assortment of health and beauty products, and lots of options for vegans! They stock quite a bit of the Natio range and have a wide variety of supplements and vitamins. I'll continue buying my sunscreens and other health/beauty needs from here! So what can you expect to find in an outlet pharmacy/beauty store? Many things. Need to bulk up? They sell fitness supplements, protein powders, carb free foods and other concoctions to enhance your gym workout and if you manage to sustain an injury they have a good first aid section too. Need a gift for granny? No problem, this is talc and soap city. There is also a great range of shampoo, conditioners and other hair product. They sell large salon size product too, so many washes for such a low price and loads of hair accessories. Nail polishes, make up and perfumes and skin care are more towards the front of the store and often you can get yourself some pretty good bargains. For example I once got a tub of Freeze 24/7 moisturiser for $50 instead of $135 and it wasn't expired. Do check the expiration dates though, usually they tell you if they are close to being past their shelf life but you never know. I generally head here before I go to the doctor because the pharmacists are really helpful and often have exactly what I need which means I don't have to pay a hefty doctor's bill. They definitely know their stuff and know what products are best. I was there and an assistant came over within two minutes of me being there and helped me with what I needed. And when you're not feeling too good so good retail therapy often does the trick. Here they have so many amazing perfumes! I could spend hours trying them all out. And also, I buy my makeup from the ladies here too. There's loads of different brands so you can pick and choose from them as you please.

The center of the store always has some incredible display of the latest offerings and additionally this pharmacy boasts a large range of natural skin care and cosmetic brands. I was so pleased to see someone taking customer service one step further! It really has ensured my return and I will always recommend if anyone asks me for any good pharmacies. They also have a really good range of gifts here and their stock is never depleted. The pharmacists also give great advice if you ever have any niggles or worries!

I love using Net Pharmacy on the internet and going to the store. These guys are really, really…read moreeasy to deal with. The online store is packed with everything you would visit a pharmacy for. Over the past few months I've ordered everything from iron melts to blister support for sports, and everything has been delivered swiftly. The range is great, the cart and checkout are really easy to use and the delivery comes quickly - what more could you ask for? In store, the staff are helpful without being pushy - they will give you advice if you ask for it, point you in the right direction if you're lost, but won't stand over you like a school teacher while you make up your mind. I would happily recommend going into the store and shopping online.

Fortunately there is a hareem of helpful and non-judgemental staff always available to help. They seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the products they offer and if they don't know the answer themselves, one of their colleagues is sure to be able to help. I prefer to shop here than anywhere else these days as if it wasn't for their help I would have been sure to use the wrong product on more than one occassion, with faily disasterous results.

Make up seems to be a big deal here and there is often girls getting professionally made up by one of the staff. In fact, the staff are helpful when it comes to all this and quite friendly too. For her birthday I came her hoping for some ideas - a woman was very helpful and suggested 'Daisy' perfume by Marc Jacobs. It came in a cool box and the bottle had a groovy daisy design. It was pricey alright but the good news is that she loved it and hubby got some bonus points for picking out a nice perfume!

Not really a fan of purchasing anything from a store that has clearance in the title I decided to…read morego in one day to see what it was actually like. The store is set out in five main section, foundation, eyeshadows, nail polish, lip colour and mascaras just to make things easy. The brands you will find are Revlon, Loreal, Elizabeth Arden, Maybelline, Covergirl, Almay and Rimmel and a few other random ones. The range is not overly large, hence the 2 score which is a shame. What they do have which is good are the eyeshadows. Many of the Loreal products must be US imports as New Zealand does not get the HIP pigment ranges that you will find here. These are really good, they apply well and stay put without creasing and you can pick them up for around $10. The other product worth coming in for is the Rimmel eyeshadows. They are this seasons colours that you will find in Farmers but at half the price. There is a big range of mascaras though these are not brands I buy but do so for the eyeshadow because I go through them quick and these ones are well priced and do the job well.

I am all for a bargain but when it comes to makeup and things that you apply to the skin, it can be a bit dangerous. I decided to walk in to check out what it was all about, last time at a makeup clearance I scored a lipstick by Revlon that is still one of my favourites. After I walked it, the place had a whole lot of things going on, from the ugliest tights I have ever seen in my life to bangles bracelets and makeup. The makeup was good and so was the nailpolish. I still wasn't impressed by the makeup so I stuck to buying the Sally Hansen nail products.
