My go to salon. Ask for Savannah. If you get hard gel overlay, she is your person. Very gentle on my nails and meticulous with the cuticle care. She even buffs my callus. It is appointment only, but I just text her to see when she's free. Tiny shop in a plaza with a few other spots such as Lee's Hoagies. I recommend bringing cash or Zelle to avoid the $3 cars

I had my nails done by Savannah at Uni Nail Innovation, and she was absolutely amazing. I've tried so many nail salons across the 626--including private nail techs--but I've never met someone as personable, professional, and detail-oriented as Savannah. The shop itself is simple, clean, and calming, and the private parking is such a perk, especially in Pasadena. We had great conversation during the appointment, and Savannah made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Most importantly, I'm obsessed with how my nails turned out. I went for a clean girl/princess-style set, and while the design is minimal, the attention to detail is unmatched. Savannah used Japanese gel polishes with a rubber base underneath, and the shape and finish are perfect. Subtle, chic, and elegant--just how I like it. If you're looking for a new nail tech in the area, this is your sign. I'll definitely be back!

Monthly visit never disappoints! I couldn't ask for a better place to provide quality nail art and service. It also helps to have the choice of your show on Netflix in the background to make the experience much more relaxing and enjoyable.

I came here last minute tonight (a Sunday) and the woman who worked on my daughter and I was very nice and accommodating. My 2 stars is for the pricing. I got a gel pedicure with French tip and my 6 year old got a gel manicure. The total price before tip was $130. I mean that is absolutely insane. I checked afterward, there is no website that lists pricing and inside the salon there's no menus or signs with the pricing. I think in 2026 this should not be allowed anymore. Pricing has gotten out of control but it's also deceiving to not have something set that customers are able to see. On top of that, I have been getting French tip on my toes for 5 + years and never once have I received one with such a thin line. The price breakdown was: $60 gel pedicure + $20 extra for French tip. I mean...the amount of white on my toes absolutely does not justify $20. My daughters (6 years old) was $50 and she finished with her in 15 minutes. Like I said the technician was very sweet. we were the only ones in there so that was nice. This is strictly for the insane pricing and lack of menus available for people to see pricing. I hate to show my feet on Yelp however, this is the French tip that cost $20 extra. All in all, enjoyable service but I won't come back. Nail salons need to start having menu prices listed.

First time coming in. I texted in advance to ask if I could walk-in in about five minutes and got an immediate response. Parking is easy. There's a lot right in front of the salon. Cassie is a bit of a perfectionist, and I really appreciated her attention to detail. It cost $60 for gel removal + manicure, and I thought the cost was reasonable. The color selection is great--lots of gorgeous muted shades of pink, rose, neutrals, etc.

Wanting to get my nails done, I decided to stop by Uni Nail Innovation (which is located in the same plaza as Go Go Sushi with free parking). I came by earlier this morning, just as a walk in (figured I didn't need to make an appointment for a Monday). Savannah greeted me and ended up working on my nails. I decided to try a manicure with Japanese gel ($45) and a French manicure ($25). Time it took was a little under an hour. I'm not going to lie, but $70 (prior to tip) is a bit pricey for a manicure but I decided to splurge since it's the holidays and I don't normally get my nails done on a regularly basis. Also I have read that Japanese gel typically last longer than regular gel and hope that will be the case for my first time experience. I loved the way my French manicure came out and love how the green color that I picked (my favorite color) turned out. Savannah told me that they have a one week guarantee that if anything happens to my nails (chipped for example) then I can come back and they can repair the problem. If more than a week passes and there are problems then they can give me a discount if I want them to fix it. After my nails were done, I was given a quick hand massage with lotion (and oil was placed near my cuticles). I was also given a stamp card for my first visit. Overall, service was friendly and well done by Savannah and would come back to her the next time I want to get my nails done. For those that are interested in pricing that I paid and also overheard when another customer came in during my visit (which is what I typically look for when scanning reviews): Japanese Gel: $45 French Manicure: $25 (add on) Chrome color (Japanese Gel): $25 (add on) Nail design: $5 (per nail) Pedicure: $30 (for polish) Pedicure: $55 (for gel) Callus removal: $6 Please note that there is a $2 transaction fee if you pay by credit card.

The service here is always good. They use quality organic products and have the best stylish machine equipment they use on your hand and feet. Nice modern upscale nail shop. They need more workers though they only have two workers. Prices are high but you are paying for the quality of the organic products they use. Plenty of parking.

Cassie was amazing! She accommodated me last minute when I had no expectations there was any availability. She was sweet, detail-oriented, but fast! She perfected details I wouldn't have noticed but I very much appreciated. I was extremely overdue for a pedicure and she took amazing care of me! Highly recommend :)

Legitimately the prettiest nails I've ever had. Savannah was meticulous and paid attention to the littlest details. I brought a photo of what I wanted, and she made my nails look better than the original inspo photo I brought. Ample parking, friendly & courteous staff, great hours. I brought in a photo of the nails I wanted and they are the exact same as the reference photo. How rare is that?? Casey did my nails and paid attention to every little detail and did an amazing job. She also picked out the color to match perfectly to the photo I gave her, but also gave me other options that I might've liked. I've been looking for a place that can do gel ex designs to the T of a photo or replicate a design. Eureka!!! I think I finally found the spot. Let's be real, most places can't get it just right or right at all. Made an appointment with Cassie based on the reviews I read and her IG account. The place is not crowded with people, which I like a bit of tranquility. Cassie took lots of care with my nails and was meticulous with each step. And the final result was a love love situation! I have never written a negative review on a business but this business owner Cassie is unprofessional and doesn't know what she is doing. When I made my appointment Cassie quoted me $75 for chrome nails and regular pedicure. When Cassie started working on my nails she used a Electric Nail Drill Machine. She burned my cuticles and than started shaving off my skin around my whole nail, I had no extra skin around my nails. I asked Cassie politely to stop because of the pain and burning it caused my cuticle as well as my skin. Cassie stated, "you are sensitive." Than in an angry tone Cassie started telling me my nails are going to break if I don't do a parlay over the chrome. Cassie kept giving me an attitude until I agreed to do the parlay, than added another $15 to my bill. Cassie than told me there is no one to do my pedicure. At this point I so uncomfortable and in so much pain I no longer wanted to do a pedicure. I couldn't wait to get up and leave. After she finished my nails, she charged my credit card for $92. I told Cassie what she originally quoted me, which was $75, for both mani and pedi, she denied it and told me to get out. My nail peeled after two days. I never experienced this type of treatment. I visit Europe every year and they always use electrical drills to remove my cuticle, they never hurt me or shave off my skin around my nails. I am reporting this business to the California Department of Consumer Affairs Board of Cosmetology. read more

Customer service: Everyone is so friendly and approachable. Facility: Clean and spacious. Also doesn't smell like strong acetone. Restroom is also very clean. Comfortable chairs and they have TVs where you can select your show preference from Netflix. Parking: super easy and free! They're in a plaza with plenty of parking spaces. Nails: Savannah was my nail artist and OMG she is so good. I never have issues of my nails lifting or getting hair stuck between the gel polish and my actual nail. It also lasts very long. My last set lasted me 5 weeks with no chips or damages. I would've kept them longer but I can't manage life with long nails. Savannah is very detail oriented. She has gentle hands and is very good at what she does! Price: I know people say this place is pricey but they're pretty much the same as other Japanese gel places. You do pay for quality. While there are cheaper nail salons out there, I've never been as satisfied as I am now. I usually go for nails with design and they do it perfectly!! Cassie is my go-to nail artist in town, and I followed her to her brand new salon from a different salon nearby. Being Japanese, I really love and prefer to get Japanese-style nail art. Even though I'm particular about the designs that I choose, Cassie has always been able to recreate them for me perfectly. Tried this place on a Monday when my regular place was closed. I get mani-pedis often. Clean enough and my pedicure was fine but manicure was the WORST!! Never soaked my nails and used a machine to buff my nails but never cleaned off the dust! What???? Put on the polish on top of the dust!! Find another place!!! read more

I have been coming here since they had soft opening. I actually found this place because I wanted to do my nails but no one around the area had any availability. So when I messaged this business Savannah messaged me right away and was able to see me since they werent that busy at the time. But Im so glad I found her. I use to be the type to go around places to get my nails done because I thought they are all the same... until I met Savannah. Her work is top notch! Her prep work is really good and I think that's the reason why I have NEVER had a chipped nail and why the gel lasts soo long, the longest I had mine was 7 weeks! And it still looks good granted my nails were definitely long. I am so happy to see their business booming, now I book my appointments in advance because trying to see her super last minute doesn't always work out. I highly highly recommend her! read more

Tells me these don't look amazing?! So I was searching for a nail place in LA but wasn't really feeling a lot of the ones in central Hollywood. So I completed the Yelp request form saying what I was looking for. In swoops Savannah she contacts me as ask if I am willing to come to Pasedena and I though why the heck not?? I booked the appointment with her and she told me to send the design I wanted to her. I did. My appointment was at 10am and it started at 10 on the dot. I got my mani-pedi. Gel X with Japanese gel and a gel pedi (on no I forgot to get the persons name, but she was great too.) The place was really clean and service was great! Bonus fact I learned they just opened not too long ago and the business is women owned! How great is that!! 10/10 recommend. read more

I hadn't gotten a pedi in 3 mos due to being very sick from a severe allergic reaction of unknown cause. Getting better, so I booked an appt. I used to use dazzle dry which was "safe" but I found a brand that's even cleaner called kapa nui. I asked if I can bring my own stuff since I'm scared to get an allergy again and they said ok. I was running late but they were able to move my appt. I brought my own polish and organic items. Savannah was understanding and accommodating. The salon is clean and nice. It was only another lady getting a mani and myself. I hate crowded places so this was great. They only do gel -thank God no acrylics so there's no horrible chemical smells. The chairs provide massage, never saw that before in a salon, that was cool. I will definitely come back to uni nail innovation and would recommend to others. Thank you! read more

Beware of nail drill. My nails are paper thin after a mani pedi because the nail "tech" over used the nail drill. They're also hella dented. My feet still look like crap after a deluxe pedi. I also got a hangnail from the tech pushing my violently cuticles back. Moral of the story: don't watch Stranger Things while getting a mani pedi. read more

In all fairness, they did try and right this wrong, but after spending an hour + for a gel manicure with NO designs, I couldn't get myself to go back. As she was painting my nails we both saw that the light color I chose was streaky, but she kept adding coats in hopes of a better outcome. Bad Idea! Six coats later and my gel manicure is think and bumpy. Thankfully one of the other women stepped in and said that if we put a glitter over it, that would be the fix until I could come back and get them redone. So, there goes another coat of polish! It was terrible and I'm dreading how long it's going to take to get this all off my nails, but I definitely won't be going back! I love the convenience of the parking lot and they usually have appointments available, but not worth it. Again, they did try to have me come back to right this mistake, but it was before the 4th and we had plans all weekend. I appreciate their willingness to try again. read more

savannah did such an amazing job! she was so meticulous and even fixed my nail when i scraped it on the uv light she worked really well with my natural nails and i loooovveee the way my nails look!!! thank you so much i paid $50 for the gel manicure and then $6 per finger for the gel design, it was a little pricey but worth it in my opinion! read more

They do a good job with Japanese gel nails! It's $45 for Japanese gel and $65 if you want gel overlay. $70 for gel-x. I love that they have a ton of colors to pick from & the shape of my nails is always good. I haven't had a bad experience with anyone working on my hands. I prefer Japanese gel for the health of my nails! Pedicures are ok sometimes the pedis are a little too slow, but that's all personal preference. It starts at $30 for regular polish and goes up from there. The only thing I think is unfair and the math isn't mathing is prices for add ons. For example, gel-x cost $70 however if you need just one extension gel-x it cost $10 each! Like shouldn't it at the very least be $7 since getting gel-x cost $70? Also for adding chrome it's an additional $25. I've personally never seen chrome be more than $10-$15 extra at any salon and I've gone to about 7 diff salons in this area. There's also nothing special about the chrome it's the typical chrome most nail salons use so that's why I don't think the price is justified. Maybe bring your own chrome instead? Or do the chrome part yourself if you're trying to save LOL And for design it varies, but normally $5-$10 each nail that has a design. They will quote you based on how hard the design is, but it's per nail and not an over all price. read more

I walked in to see if I could get a mani/pedi, and was able to get service right away. The salon is super-clean and organized, with a peaceful vibe. Savannah did my Japanese gel manicure and regular pedicure, and was very gentle and meticulous. I love how my nails turned out--I'm ready for my vacation to Hawaii! I got my nails done on Halloween afternoon. The place was empty so I was seated right away. Cassie did my nails and did a great job. This is the best gel manicure I've ever had. Most gel manicures I've received, they start to chip or lift near the cuticle area after a couple of weeks. This is the first time that hasn't happened after so long. The first picture was taken the evening I got my manicure and the second picture is almost 5 weeks later. Minus the nail growth, my nails look pretty much the same. My only negative is that I didn't receive any hand massage which is pretty typical when receiving a manicure. Other than that, I would definitely go back. read more

Please consider looking at the photos of my nails an hour after they were done. I initially overlooked things because there was one employee in particular who was very kind and I kept hoping my experience would improve. Unfortunately, after several visits, I began noticing issues that became impossible to ignore. I observed sanitation and maintenance concerns that made me uncomfortable, including openings in walls with exposed plumbing, tools appearing to be reused between clients without proper visible sanitization, and a communal nail brush in the bathroom that was later used during service. This raised hygiene concerns for me personally. My birthday appointment was the turning point. I specifically requested Serena. During removal, my nails chipped significantly and I felt the service was rushed. I requested nail strengthening treatment and a simple French tip, but the final result was thick and not what I had asked for. When I politely said I was unhappy with the outcome, the response immediately became uncomfortable. Cameras were repeatedly referenced even though I was simply discussing the result of my nails and not disputing what happened. I was told that whatever I chose next "better be right" because they did not want me returning unhappy later. The repeated references to surveillance felt unnecessary and unrelated to the issue I was trying to address. There were also concerns about pricing. The posted pricing showed removal and regular polish charges, however I was charged more than expected and left confused about the final total. The polish reportedly applied "free of charge" did not feel free when the overall bill had already increased. After payment there was little acknowledgment, no effort to resolve concerns, and the interaction felt abrupt. When my husband later tried to discuss the pricing and service concerns, the conversation escalated further. Cameras were referenced again, we were directed to contact the owner, a phone number provided was unreachable, and the situation became increasingly hostile rather than solution focused. At that point it stopped being about the money and became about customer treatment. I gave this place multiple chances because there were staff members I genuinely liked and wanted to support. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed, uncomfortable, and disappointed. I would encourage management to focus on professionalism, sanitation transparency, customer communication, and handling feedback without escalation. For those looking in Pasadena, I would personally recommend seeking a salon with clearer pricing, stronger customer service, and a cleaner environment.
