I didn't actually go inside for a show, but wow -- just walking around the Oslo Opera House was worth the visit. The building itself is gorgeous, super modern, and you can literally walk up the sloping roof to the top. The views of the water and the city are amazing, especially on a sunny day.
It's one of those places where you can just hang out, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of locals and tourists were sitting around, having a coffee, or just chilling by the water. It feels really open and welcoming, not like some fancy building you can't touch.
Definitely a must-see in Oslo, even if you're not into opera. It's free to walk around, up and down the beautiful structure. Come for the architecture, stay for the views! read more
