There is plenty of parking, which is free. I like how the conservative shows follow the path of the map. It goes through from the front to the end and leaves Crocomuseum at 13:15, which is when the show starts. I highly recommend seeing this show. Normally you see crocodiles sitting still like statues in their little pools at the zoo, but the show allows you to see them in action. Also, I saw Terri, Bindi, and Chandler! They were missing Robert that day. They really be making money off a dead guy though. I noticed after every talk, they mention Steve's mission and passion and something about the bracelets and donations. They only house seven crocodiles at this zoo. The wildlife hospital was a dud.

The show was a little dry for my 2 year old but we enjoyed watching and learning about the crocs. The splash pad was a hit. It looks like there is a bus stop here, so maybe public transportation can take you straight here. I didn't really like that there was no physical map. They had a virtual one that you had to access on your phone. It was very interactive and helpful though. They also had free wifi throughout the sanctuary, and it actually worked everywhere and to some extent in the car park. I estimate that the whole sanctuary can be done in 2-3 hours. Their animal experiences are charged on top of admission and include koalas, dingoes, sheep dogs, reptiles, raptors, and barn animals. You have to check their schedule to see what time they start. I wish they had an option to hold koalas! I also wish they had an encounter for the wombats, or something more up close. The wombat area is quite large and hard to find them. The kangaroo grass area was covered in little poops! You have to watch where you're stepping. There's some cafes with food, snacks, and coffee, but there are also plenty of picnic tables and covered seating if you bring your own food. These memories will last a lifetime. Our guide was THE BEST! Bucket list checked for sure! Getting into a bit more detail, I purchased the ticket online with ease. They immediately sent an email with your ticket as well as when to arrive, where to meet, recommended attire, and what to expect. The tour includes a morning snack in the koala cafe and lunch. Upon arrival, I spotted our guide and was provided a form to fill out with food selections. I was very impressed with options as well as the helpings. The food was quite delicious and filling. I don't know if I will ever be back in Brisbane in my lifetime but this was well worth the price. I'm glad I took the plunge and went for it! Far exceeded my expectations!

I called and asked if it was walk able and they said it was a very easy walk. It was actually quite far. We ended up taking the taxi which cost 12 dollars. (about 25 round trip). Pros: 1. You can pet and feed a lot of different animals at this zoo. 2. A lot of variety 3. Workers are nice and their animal presentation is very good. Cons: 1. Expensive. Not worth the normal entry fee of around 27 dollars per person. 2. Costs 20 dollars to hold a koala for 30 seconds just enough for a picture (not worth it) 3. Park is pretty small compared to other zoos i've been to for a cheaper admission price. 4. They make it seem like the park is really close to the train station but it isn't. You have to take a taxi unless you want to walk 2.5km on a hilly road with no sidewalks. Overall, I had fun and the experience of holding a koala was nice. I also loved feeding the kangaroos. Without the groupon, I don't think the experience would be worth it. 20 dollars to take a picture with a Koala is quite expensive. I understand that they are privately funded and rely heavily on admissions however so the prices are understandable.

Still, I've always liked the Sealife Aquariumns - you can be pretty much assured of what you are going to get, and of course they always do their best to tailor their aquariums to the local regions. Mind you, the one thing I did like about this place was the seal show - that was cool.
