The store has so many areas specialising in different things from food to beauty - many of which have their own names, making a mini shopping mall with different parts of the store having their own Yelp listings - it would have been nice to see a technology section here similar to modern department stores, however. The store is step-free, apart from the grand main entrance which has steps going both up and down. This store is even worth visiting just for the grand nature and beautiful architecture which is remarkable and surely stands out in its' location, close to tram/bus services and T-Centralian. There wasn't a great deal of staff around the floor, other than those who might work for the individual stands within NK rather than the mall its-self and the store can be a little difficult to navigate at times due to its size- surprising for a high-end department store that employs 1200+. A remarkable, impressive department store just to walk around for the look and feel of the store alone - bare in mind it is pretty high-end and affluent, like a Swedish Selfridges. 4*

The NK has top local and international brands. With a selection unrivaled in Sweden and impeccable customer service, the store attracts a decidedly upper-scale urban local segment. It claims 12M visitors p.a., including the random foreign business traveler like me. Joseph Sachs' founding vision was to make NK 'commercial and cultural theater.' The vibe at the NK is what I imagine Saks was like in '50s New York. Let's call it earnest coolness. There's more of an emphasis on quality workmanship and active curation of wearable fashion (rather than couture) brands like Peak Performance, Ralph Lauren and Gant. The attraction itself was very poorly made. Very cheap optical illusions, 70% of which could be googled. Only 2 were interesting, and even those were mild at best. The staff there were also seemed pretty bored and disinterested. Overall felt too expensive for the experience.

Worst place I have ever been to!…read more I went there today and ordered a risotto. The risotto was so salty I could not eat it. I tried anyway since I was hungry, but it was just impossible, even though I had a glass of water after every bite. I tried to catch a waiter without success. When I left, I went up to the bar, and to the man that took my order, to inform that that the food is pretty salty, and maybe they could inform the chef to take it easy with the salt in the future? Considerering my two collegues also found their food too salty, and pointed that out, he could listen to this piece of advise? O no, the man at the counter started yelling that their food is not salty, I must be wrong, and that they don't use any salt at allt (haha)! O dear. Well, I'm never going back there (although I work around the corner...)

They have these cool, shiny, plastic or pleather covered red seats, lining the back of old retro cars, along with old school barber style chairs too for trying on the boots. It's a mix of native american decor, cowboy flare and Vans biker gear all wrapped into one store. It's a fun store at least, lots of shoes and boots to fit everyone.

It was like a dream. COS (Collection of Style) is H&M's stylish and refined older sister. Its higher price point allows for ample inventiveness and interesting fabrics. Some of it's a bit over the top for me but nevertheless I often manage to find classic pieces here that I want to wear over and over again. This store - Stockholm's COS flagship - is one of the best stocked I've seen in Europe.

The store was quite busy and though the fitting room line got long, it moved quickly. Tip: If you're shopping from outside the EU ask for a tax-free receipt to submit at the airport to get a sales tax refund! This applies to a lot of retail stores for purchases over 20SEK. [7/100]
