I worked closely with Danny at the Underground Printing team - even though we're 2,355 miles apart and never met, he was so amazingly responsive and we built a great relationship. A real pleasure to work with! Mine was a very small order and all I wanted was a single hoodie for me to wear as a one-person photography business owner. I thought it would be near impossible to find a firm that would actually want to take such a small order. There was nothing in my area of CA so I found this firm in MI. Add to that, that I was very particular about what kind of hoodie I wanted, and I changed my order from a polo shirt and hoodie to eventually just a hoodie, and Danny worked with me every step of the way. He sent me samples for a small fee (the value of one I ended up choosing ended up coming off my printing bill), as the default choice for black hoodies wasn't quite up to my high standards. I found from the selection Danny made available, a really nice, thick American Apparel one, that I tried on and decided I'd like to go ahead with it. The team helped me with the artwork and this was smooth too as I already had a clear idea and a mock-up of what I wanted it to look like. Being able to try it on (not something I expected to be possible, given that I am nowhere near their facility), was huge for me in building trust, given that it was a $140+ order and it probably wouldn't be possible to get a re-do if I didn't like the quality of the hoodie. The printing and the speed of email reply was super, super quick and I couldn't be more impressed with how smoothly everything went. Prices were manageable and I'm just so grateful that they were happy to serve me with my super tiny order. read more

Underground Printing - Screen Printing/T-Shirt Printing Near Me - Ann Arbor, Michigan

I came across Underground Printing after running into many difficulties with another company. The shirts turned out great and arrived quickly! The website was easy to use and I was kept well informed throughout the entire process, and were actually cheaper than the other company. Highly recommend! read more

The customer service is great on the phone and even in the chat. I wish I could pin point one person who really helped me, but I can't, everyone I talked to was helpful (and I called several times, because I had no clue what I was doing). Underground Printing had a great turn around, and I received the shirts when promised. I highly recommend Underground Printing and I will be using them again. read more

I can't recommend Underground Printing strongly enough. I've ordered from other custom short printing companies and they don't come close. I've placed several orders and there were some copyright concerns about my most recent design. I sent info that cleared the concerns and my shirts were quickly produced and shipped. Top quality shirts and first rate customer service. read more

There are two sides to this business, the retail side along with the custom business. The retail side is great. They have a collection of Michigan themed items at decent prices. Contrary to the M-Den, most of the items here are not Nike. They are just high quality material consisting of screen prints that are done in house from Underground Printing. Outside this location, you can commonly find a $2.99 shirt rack which is amazing. Always find some great items on that rack which retail for so much more. For example, just got a Michigander t shirt for $2.99 and a Brown Jug Bar shirt for $4.49 (70% off). Check out the store, they have a ton of great items. It is not just shirts either. They have things like jackets, hats and other game day accessories. Staff is always super helpful so just let them know if you're looking for something in particular. read more

I got a print of my childhood photo on a T-shirt. The online portal was very user friendly. The shipping was fast and I was notified about every step of the process from acceptance of the order to T-shirt being in print to shipping and delivery. So the T-shirt has arrived and it looks amazing. Great quality print and exactly as pictured in the preview. I will definitely order more and recommend this company to my friends. read more

UGP in Ann Arbor is fantastic! I absolutely recommend them because they offer great products, excellent customer service, and extremely fast ordering. Danny helped me and my company in Colorado order apparel for our employees. The process from developing and prepping our company logo for embroidery, choosing apparel and approving the artwork, developing two POGO forms, and ultimately product packaging and delivery was extremely easy and seamless. Ordering company gear this way was so streamlined on the ordering end because each employee entered their own order and UGP individually packaged each employees order; this made the final delivery extremely easy. The managers at our company said that UGP delivered the best quality clothing and embroidery and simplified ordering process than any other company we have used in the past 15 years. If you are looking to have your group order apparel and are looking for streamlined service and excellent quality goods and embroidery, then you have to choose UGP. read more

Great to work with - communication was excellent, they answered questions promptly and I received the shirts exactly on time. The quality of the print was excellent (mine was complex with a lot of colors). I highly recommend them! read more

I was very disappointed with my experience. When I placed my order I paid extra for shipping to get my order here quick. A day my order was supposed to arrive I got an email saying my package could not be delivered due to a snowstorm (which is fine), but I suspect my order would not have arrived on time anyway. I was in constant contact with a customer service rep trying to get information on my order, but nothing. Today my order arrives out of the blue. I never received any shipping or tracking information. The printing on the shirts is not very high quality and looks faded already despite being brand new. The entire process gave me the feeling this company is extremely disorganized. The only reason I did not give 1 star is because the company did refund what I paid for expedited shipping, which I found very to be very professional and did appreciate. read more

We used Underground printing (in Evanston) for the first time this year and had a great experience! Highly recommend using Underground Printing. Danny was very helpful with the entire process from design to delivery. I also recommend using their POGO service. My experience with underground printing has been so good, that I literally fly from California to Michigan to order directly from here. The workmanship, options and pricing literally exceeds any competitor in my area and the simplicity and ease of working with the employees here makes it well worth the flight. I am consistently pleased and enjoy the process of ordering from Underground printing every step of the way. I would avoid paying any attention to the one negative review that on here, (we all know and have dealt with those type of people!!!) Walk into any underground printing shop and you will see for yourself how helpful everyone is and all the selection they have! Thanks again to Megan Kearney who made this process so seamless and fun. Amazing customer service! Fast turn around time, quality product/printing, and great price! Thank you Underground printing!

I placed my first order with UGP recently, and I can't wait to work with them again. Their turnaround time was great - about half that of other vendors. Their prices were the lowest I found after a lot of research for this order. The quality was fantastic. I ordered black shirts with white imprints, and the imprint quality was spot on. Their online quoting system gives you the freedom to check out as many different products and printing options as you like on your own without having to request pricing each time. Angie helped put my order thru and answered all my questions very quickly. She was great to work with. i would definitely recommend UGP! read more
