If I could give 10 stars I would!! Undercover Live was the first vendor I booked after we booked our date and venue and it was the absolute best decision. We booked them for our ceremony music (live guitarist), cocktail hour (jazz quartet), and reception (10 piece band). Guests were up and dancing before the dance floor was officially "open" which is ALWAYS a great sign. Worth EVERY last penny and looking back, I wish we had extended our reception so that we could have had more time with them on the dance floor. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the band was and we are still hearing about it weeks later. New hubs and I are already scheming on another event so that we can hire Undercover again!! Leading up to the wedding, George was a dream to work with - I had a few song requests that were not part of their repertoire, which were happily accommodated. The band NAILED them and made my wedding "soundtrack" dreams came true. They easily accommodated other requests we made and ultimately blew us away with their on stage presence and flair. I knew hiring them would be a great decision and already had high expectations and they absolutely way beyond exceeded them all. THANK YOU George and team for making our wedding beyond special and the dance party we dreamed of! read more

We hired Undercover for our wedding, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our big day. We booked their 8 piece band, and from the incredible emcee to the powerhouse vocalists to the insanely talented musicians, they absolutely crushed it. The dance floor was packed all night long and the energy never dipped for a second. They are true professionals who know exactly how to read a room, hype a crowd, and set the perfect tone for every moment of the night. One of our favorite parts was how seamlessly they blended songs together, no awkward pauses, just nonstop music and momentum. It honestly felt like having a DJ... but with the magic and excitement of live music. We received SO many compliments from our guests about the band, and they truly elevated the entire reception experience. I know that years from now when people recall this event, they will be talking about the amazing live music! George was phenomenal to work with from start to finish, super communicative, easy to reach, incredibly informative, and genuinely invested in making our night perfect. Him and his team took the time to understand our vision, our reception flow, first dance details, and all the key moments, and executed everything flawlessly. They are worth every single penny. These musicians are unbelievably talented, professional, and fun, and they made our wedding reception completely unforgettable. If you're considering live music for your event, stop looking and book them. Couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you Undercover Live and team! - Michelle & David Acosta read more

We truly cannot say enough great things about this band - they completely surpassed our expectations and created a wedding experience we'll never forget. From start to finish, they were an absolute joy to work with: kind, professional, flexible, and so much fun. They took the time to learn the songs that were meaningful to us and performed them beautifully, which made everything feel so personal and special. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but their energy is absolutely infectious. The dance floor was packed the entire night - we honestly didn't want it to end! They knew exactly how to read the crowd and keep the momentum going with the perfect mix of songs. We're still getting compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding band they've ever seen. We did not end up going with them (chose a more unconventional music option) but were thoroughly impressed with George's attention to detail and overall enthusiasm for helping give us the best music possible. George carefully listened to all of our needs and provided a wide array of options and services tailored to our goals. read more

We cannot say enough good things about them - they learned multiple songs for us and played them so beautifully, and brought so much amazing energy that people even started dancing during cocktail hour! Undercover Live was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I saw them perform at a concert in the park event and knew then that they would be perfect for our wedding. What we didn't know was how thorough they would be in the leadup to our special day. They made sure that they learned all of our songs ahead of time. They listened to our vision of our wedding day and made sure to make it come to life. I received numerous compliments about how great they were. Everyone was on the dance floor. There's nothing better than having a band at your wedding. It's well worth the cost. If you're looking for a wedding band, I'd highly recommend working with George and Undercover Live Entertainment. read more

This band is so much fun! Not only did they play for my husband and I's wedding back in August, but they also played at my sister's wedding and boy they did not disappoint. They are extremely professional, on time, responsive and made our reception fun. They are great at keeping your guest dancing and if you are on the fence of a DJ and a live band I have to tell you the band is the way to go and look no further than Undercover Live. My dad literally talked about how good they were in his speech, so I think that says just how great an investment they are for your special day. read more

BEST BAND EVER!!! We hired this band for our 180 person wedding, and they were the highlight of the night! Seriously, the whole night everyone was dancing and coming up to us saying how amazing they were. We had the 8 piece band, and they coordinated our ceremony and cocktail music as well, which was beautiful. Everything was perfect! Everyone was dancing the whole night! I 100% recommend going with Undercover Live. And if you're deciding between a band and a DJ, this band is definitely the way to go! The way they mix and match songs and flow right into the next, there is never a break in the action. It is truly the coolest thing ever. On top of their incredible performance, George and the team were so easy and nice to coordinate with. They first invited us to watch them play at a local bar, and they comped us tickets. They noted every detail about our wedding and made it so easy to have them set up at the venue. The MC made everything flow, from the first dance to the speeches to rockin the night away. If you're reading this review, I am so happy you found Undercover Live for your event, because you're going to have an amazing time! Thank you George and team! read more

*CK guest post** Attended a yacht party where they performed and they were absolutely amazing!! Most fun I've had in a long time. Absolutely loved their energy and the songs they played. Highly recommend them!!! read more

Great energetic band for events!! They performed for our group during a San Diego harbor cruise and were enjoyed by all!

Great time with this band on a boat cruise around San Diego. Very lively, kept the party going, 10/10!

UCL was the perfect wedding band. George is a gem to work with - very responsive, good suggestions when you ask but otherwise down to take care of everything. I totally get why all our other vendors recommend them (also love that those in the business think so highly of them). Nothing threw him off and everything was perfection - even down to making sure we had a mic for our officiant and for our friend who played violin for our ceremony. I made a Spotify HH playlist and they took care of the rest. But the the band themselves? Outstanding. They made it a PARTY. People are still raving about it 2 months later. They just nailed it. We had a blast, they sounded wonderful, and there were 100 unforgettable moments. I'm endlessly impressed and HIGHLY recommend. read more

My wife Jenn and I got married on October 28th at The Crossing at Carlsbad. I've known Undercover for a long time since they play at the bar I work at. They were the only band I'd consider to play at our wedding. They were amazing, they kept the energy high and our guests on the dance floor all night long. It was a great party. They play all the hits from the classics to modern, rock, hip hop and pop. It really was an amazing day and a lot of it was due to Undercover! Thank you guys! Love Jenn and Grant read more

We were SO glad we booked Undercover Live for my daughter's wedding! To us, the band is the most important part of the reception because you want your guests to have a blast. Book them EARLY like right after you book your venue because they are popular! George was amazing to work with, he was very organized, detail-oriented and fast to respond to emails. The band themselves made the night! They wore cowboy hats since we were all from Texas having the wedding in San Diego. We loved that! Beforehand, they asked for lists of songs we wanted played, even songs we did NOT want played and then they learned a few new songs that made our guests go nuts! They knew how to read the room and had the dance floor packed the entire reception. They let the bride and groom up on the stage to sing a few songs too, it was so much fun. BOOK THEM if you can!! read more

My husband and I hired Undercover for our son and daughter-in-loves wedding, Sept., 2024. They were the best band ever. We had 200 guests and from the ceremony, 3-string , to the cocktail hour music and the dinner and reception, it was pure magic. The kids provided an amazing playlist which they timed the music perfectly on when to play which songs. The guests were on the dancefloor the entire night. We had the eight-piece band, with horns and the vocalists were amazing. The band had as much fun playing as the guest did dancing and singing. I hope to either hire them again or attend an event where they perform. They are music magic. They are very professional and worth every penny. read more

We've been to three weddings since ours and I didn't realize how important the band was until I compared our dance floor to those who have DJs. A band may be more expensive, but it is SO worth it. When we first started planning our wedding, this is the one thing my dad told us was worth splurging on. So we looked at a few different bands in the area. Undercover definitely had the best reviews and George was always quick to respond so we booked them about a year ago. I highly recommend having Undercover Live be part of your upcoming event / wedding. They played excellent music for all ages. Our dance floor was full the entire night. I am still getting compliments a month later on how amazing our band was and how much fun guests had dancing all night long. Nobody remembers the expensive cake or amount of flowers you have - People definitely remember whether they were awkwardly standing around or belting out on the dance floor. I am so glad that we had Undercover at our wedding - They made the whole night complete! Worth every penny - Would highly recommend. You won't regret it! read more

We had Undercover Live for our wedding in La Quinta on May 6 and believe me when I say they blew us all away. The music, the vibes and energy could not have been better. We opted to add a saxophone player to the band and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing so as it took an already amazing band and made them that much better. George from the band was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process and was willing to go above and beyond to deliver the best possible experience for us. Hiring Undercover Live was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. The energy the band brought to the crowd was amazing and guests of all ages from 18 to 95 were up and dancing. I've honestly never had so much fun listening to a band. Their mashups were on point, the song selection is what you dream of for a wedding band, George was so easy to work with and made all of my dreams come true. The fact that people are still calling me to tell me how amazing the band was and asking for their number to book them for their own wedding or events made my husband and I feel great about our choice, and so happy. Thank you again for everything!!! read more

This is one super talented group of individuals. They got the party started and kept it going. Hope to see them live again soon.

High energy, great song list and amazing musicians. They completely made the party rock.

It was such a joy having Undercover at our wedding! We hired the 6 piece band and they rocked it all night long, keeping the dance floor always fun and bumping. Undercover Live was our wedding band & woo they brought the party!! The music!! The energy!! What a fantastic band!! The MC Carla was phenomenal, did such a great job. George was flexible and easy to talk to leading up to the big day. Had no worries about anything going into it. Very relaxed. These guys are pros and WOW what a incredible band they are. Unfortunately I missed the guitar player we had for ceremony and cocktail hour while we took pictures, but everyone said he was really good. Bummed I missed out, but all good. Would highly recommend, they killed it!! read more

Talk of the post wedding brunch! Couldn't get in a word before people saying, "Wow that band was amazing!" And....my now wife, has been to over 30 weddings and, although biased, can't remember a better wedding band. We had 25 year olds to 75 year olds rocking out!!! Thanks!! read more

Undercover Live was spectacular! Our wedding was 100 attendees and they played every song like it was 10,000. They were consummate professionals and were, even so, kind to let me sing Sweet Child of Mine with them. George absolutely shredded on the guitar, it was like we had Slash in the room but with a haircut! The lead singer, I am unfortunately lapsing on her name at the moment. Was amazing, she also emeeced our wedding festivities, and it was so lovely to have someone do so, in such a sweet and professional fashion! I think just about every member of the band sang lead for one song or several even the drummer! He sang all the high notes on Prince's "kiss". Seriously, I could go on and on but they made the booking processes incredibly easy and simple custom tailored to your wedding or event needs. They just totally blew our socks off for the performance. We had easily 5 guests ask for their name so they could book them as well. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

We are so grateful to have had Undercover Live (7 piece) perform at our wedding. It has been over 2 months and our guests are still talking non-stop about how incredible they were. Due to covid we were only able to watch videos of the band online and were slightly nervous headed into our wedding. George stepped us through the entire process and made us feel incredibly comfortable along the way. The band was timely, professional, and greatly exceeded even our highest expectations. Before our grand entrance (and dinner) we were surprised to see all of our guests already on the dance floor having an amazing time. The only time the dancing stopped was during dinner. I can't say enough positive things about this band. Just book them and you won't regret it for even a second!! read more

Undercover was the highlight of the night. Fantastic to work with leading up to the event, and absolutely brought the party. Our friends keep commenting on how great the band was. You can read reviews and watch YouTube videos but you never know the experience of the band you will get until the actual event and Undercover Live exceeded all of our expectations! We didn't give many guidance on songs but their set was the perfect mix of oldies, 90s, top 40. They kept everyone to the dance floor all night and we received so many compliments from our guests about the band!!! One of our guests even got on stage for a harmonica collaboration with the band and it was incredible--the band was so flexible and receptive to this guest-- such an unforgettable moment.
