I don't know if the chips are cut on-site, but they are very, very good. I have been to Caesar's twice in the past three weeks. It is at the side/back of a 'strip mall' on the edge of the city centre. This is only minutes from all the major tourist attractions (assuming that you are driving). While in there, I overheard another local tell the owner that Caesar's had the best chips in town. The owner was very friendly, as were the two staff behind the counters. It's a small place with nowhere to eat inside, but I could not wait to get the fish/chips back home so just snarfed them in my car. I am fairly new to Kilkenny and had received this place as a recommendation from a local friend -- and it did not disappoint. (He was also spot on about Langston's -- review pending.) So nice to 'discover' a place not even on YELP.
