We didn't have to look far, as Rozwell was lying on a display table right near the entrance! He is so cute and sniffed our hands and got a few pets. I didn't bug him too much as he seemed content to just nap. We learned that he is 20(!!!) years old and there is another shop cat that we didn't see. Moving on, this store is super cool. They have tons of interesting things including lots of crystals, clothing, accessories, gifts, jewelry, and more. The shop also has their production facility in the back. I wonder if they do tours! They are known for using actual manhole covers in Detroit to make prints on clothing, which I think is really cool and would make a great souvenir for any Detroit lover. I had a blast looking around at everything and loved some of the vintage prints on shirts, as well as what I assume are original designs. This is a great shop for finding a gift for the coolest person in your life, or for you, because you are cool. We bought a bag of Kitty Town coffee to take home and I'm excited to come back the next time I'm in town.

Their prices are very fair and worth the drive to Westland to drop things off and pick them up; I'm sure you could also have items shipped directly to them to be embroidered. Every time I went in, they seemed to be very busy, but they always made time for me and even put a rush on an order for me when I left out a few pieces. Thanks to them, I still hit my deadline! About five days later, I…read morecalled and was told my stickers had been ready for pickup -- even though I live in another state. They offered to replace my original white background stickers with a clear backing version since I'd ordered the wrong type by mistake. The white ones worked perfectly, but the clear ones were a major issue -- the logo and wording kept peeling and ripping on all but one of the stickers I applied, even when following proper instructions. When I called today to explain, the man on the phone repeatedly interrupted me and made assumptions about what I was doing wrong (like the type of cup used), even though I'd already clarified those details. When I pointed that out, he told me he could help if I stopped cutting him off. Then, without asking for my name or order number, he abruptly said he'd refund me because "he had my number." Another worker mentioned their email inbox was full when I said I'd already sent pictures and a video showing the issue. The man never asked to see them or pull up my email. Overall, the product quality and customer service experience were both disappointing.

I have not been happy with the finished DTF prints. I have consistently received prints with a…read morevisible white outline that is not part of the design. Many times, it's not an outline that is centered around the letter so it's not neat. When I bring it to their attention, I'm told that "everything" I submit has the white outline which is not correct. Then, I was told that DTF will "always" have a white outline around it. Then, I was told, "Well, just put it on a lighter shirt, and you won't be able to see it!" Lastly, it was just met with a shrug - however, I know that the machine can be adjusted, but it seems that they aren't willing to do that. I ignored the smeared print before and started checking everything before I leave the store; but I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of working to make things right especially after I have paid my money!! Do better!
