    Was not sure if I should post this since the situation got resolved after a few speed bumps but…read more.. here we go. After gazing up to get a discount on a car wash i had the bad idea to use the car wash early in the morning. The gas station was closed but the enter light for the carwash was blinking to enter so i tried my code. It turned to be closed and my code was now registered as already used. Following day I went to talk to the employee on duty and i was told that nothing could be done to verify that i actually did not use the carwash when i said i did. I was finally told to come back a few days later because the manager would only be there on that day. Note that this would be 2 days later. I did not feel that was good enough so i asked to get him on the phone. I was told to call Esso canada by the manager because there was nothing they could to help. My refusal to accept that answer was perceived as me becoming aggressive. Was even told to leave or the police would be called . I finally left and decided to go the only route that seemed available via Esso canada. After lodging my complaint, i called the station to leave coordinates in case their was a possibility that they would find a solution(no number or name of the manager was provided to me, only had the first name because of a slip and for the number, i had to be retreive it from the website)Funny enough the manager was there. Guess the first lie was uncovered because he was there 10 minutes after i left and not 2 days later. Then it took him a few minutes to see that my story checked out. Lie #2.... a way was discovered a few minutes later to validate my claim. I retracted my complaints once completed the car wash. Piece of advise Dont lie to your customers Ensure you a mechanism to verify that the services you sell are consumed Diffuse a situation and dont brush off a customer. Make me believe that you will try And finally, look around you...you have competition within walking distance for gas and carwash. You should use the customer interaction so it becomes a discriminating factor why i would come back. Instead, there is no way i will ever go back or promote this business.
