Initially we did not have a food expand the staff working the desk was not very friendly. She instructed everyone to use the machines only for everyone to receive a cancelation error after paying. Thankfully another staff directed us to another desk and the issue was resolved. No issue with my bank card processing the payment which was a plus. The ferry runs hourly and is pretty timely. We chose to sit up top to enjoy the view. There are snack sold while on the ferry. A quick trip from cancun to Isla Mujeres, which is beautiful. Round-trip ferry cost only $34. I highly suggest this for anyone in cancun who wants to see Isla Mujeres.

Easy for us to get to this Ferry within 5 minutes walking distance from our staying. You will find deals before taking the ferry and at your arrival at Isla Mujeres, do not rush taking the first deal. You make your tickets purchases at the kiosk easy to pay cards and cash. in our case we did not take any tour, we supported local and small business rather than supporting the big ones ; ) Ultramar Ferry was super clean, looks new, in our way to Isla we stay in the upper level with live music. In our way back to mainland we stay on the first floor A/C on, mini bar, on TV, and the sear were super comfortable.

Buying tickets at the kiosk upon arrival was quick and easy. It's advisable to check the schedule online beforehand. Seats operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there's storage space for luggage on the boat.

One of the best water taxis experience I've ever had...you can sit indoors in an air condition setting or you can take to the top and sit outside and enjoy the 369 view of your surroundings. The top offers amazing views while enjoying the cool air. Either way weather your going to isla mujeres or back to Cancun it's just a 15 to 20 minute ride. Plenty of room and even has restrooms on board.

Very easy to get too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Terminal is clean and has a bar should you get there too early. Don't freak there is guys to help you with your bags for tips of course. I gave them a couple bucks and it was very appreciated. We sat downstairs because upstairs was full. Downstairs is air conditioned. The ferry moves fairly fast total trip was just shy of 45 minutes. If you have paper tickets do not lose them. You need them to get back!!!!!

Really surprised by the negative reviews here. Third world operation? I think not! My husband and I took the Ultramar Ferry to and from Isla Mujeres in early November and I literally exclaimed what a smooth and professional operation this was. Signage was incredibly clear, purchasing tickets there was a total breeze, and the boat ride itself is a total joy (though prepare for major winds). Plus, they have on-boat entertainment! Each ferry has its very own musician and ours were total rockstars! The first guy we had SHREDDED on the guitar and his voice was so good that I thought it might be an actual recording. Ferries run every half hour and run until midnight, which I think is really incredible availability. Tickets for roundtrip from Puerto Juarez are $22/person. You won't be disappointed by the view of the crystal clear blue waters as you make the half hour trip across the channel.

Got us from Cancún to Isla Mujeres safely and comfortably. $30 USD each way. It was a little late arriving but a smooth operation.

We also requested that they simply stop at the hotel on the way to the airport, and they flatly refused to add it as a stop. Despite the hotel being only 7 minutes from the airport, they demanded an additional $65, claiming it was a "new service." This was unreasonable, especially since we were not asking for a separate trip, only a stop along the existing route--not to go to the airport first and then be taken to the hotel. The driver was not the issue at all--drivers are clearly restricted and monitored by GPS. The problem lies entirely with the reservation staff, who were rigid, unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any solution. They even claimed that no manager was available, which is both inexcusable and highly questionable during peak season. This was an overpriced, inflexible, and poorly managed service that added stress to an already difficult travel situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting reasonable customer service or flexibility.

This is a massive undertaking (an Odessyan journey of sorts) but they are on time and reliable beyond belief. They will confirm with you through Whatsapp the day before but if you are nervous like me they will confirm your reservations at any time. At Cancun airport they were there with my name on a sign and then it's a 2 hour drive to the ferry to the island. The drivers will stop if you want to eat or use the bathroom. Then they walk you to the ferry, which runs until 9:00 pm. They give you the ferry tickets and then when the ferry arrives at the island they have a golf cart there again to pick you up. Super coordinated. When we left the island, the taxi was at the hotel right on time and took our photos for the shuttle driver waiting for us at the ferry landing.

Fantastic Organization!…read more This is a business owned by Chuy and he provides Top Notch Service. Everyone with his organization is Professional & Friendly. First, he provides transport from Cancun Airport to Isla Hotbox hotels. Its not an easy trip, given that its 1 1/2 hours from airport to Chiquila, where you catch the ferry and then a golf cart taxi takes you to the hotel. But when you order his service, its all taken care of. At every stop, there was a driver with a sign with our names on it and they took care of our luggage and our tickets every step of the way. Kudos to our drivers, Daniel & Freddie. As if that wasn't enough, we decided to give one of his tours a try to Chichen Itza and it was an INCREDIBLE experience. Chuy makes sure they pull out all the best stops. Our driver, Mario, was wonderful (we had him make stops for Coffe & Tequila Distillery, even though, it wasn't in the plans). First, we had a fantastic guide at the Chichen Itza ruins. Pepe was friendly, funny and knowledgable. Then, we had a Beautiful & Refreshing stop at the Cenote. Next, we had a delicious stop of authentic Mayan tacos in a little shack (YUM!). We couldn't believe how much we were able to cram into one day. Our friends did a Whale Shark tour in the summer and it wasn't the right season for us to do it, but we were so jealous of their experience that we're talking about going back. Also, was able to book transfers online (awesome!) and use Paypal to pay for everything. Bar None, this has been one of my favorite tour experiences around the world.
