Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, the staff were excellent and then we watched the pantomime Sinbad, only 4 actors in the pantomime but it was great, I would highly recommend it. Fun for all the family. read more

Some cruel bunker positioning…read moremeans you need to be tidy bringing it on to the green but the course isn't too challenging for a beginner. The onsite golf shop had quite a good range of clothing too. Reasonably priced food and very friendly staff in the club house, but they lose a star for serving sherry in a brandy glass. It's an upmarket place so expect the rules re dress code to be enforced.

This leisure centre in Huncote can be reached easily from Enderby or straight through Huncote…read more Free parking available throuhgout. The leisure centre has been renovated and is lookign really good. Its not as large as Enderby or Braunstone and doesnt have a pool - equally it doesnt have the crowds and for a quick game of table tennis, 5 a side football , squash or perhaps a class such as street dancing I would recommend it Reasonable bar on site, and good quality staff who are very focussed on customers. I recently rang the centre to check for availibility and the lady who answered the phone couldnt do enough for me I recommend this centre highly.

Discovery Golf & Leisure
Discovery Golf is just outside Coalville town centre and is a short walk away from Snibston…read moreDiscovery Park. As the previous reviewer has said this is a good place to 'practice your swing'. The driving Range is well maintaned and the price you pay for a bucket of balls is as good as value as you will find anywhere else locally. They also operate a 9-hole short course. I would not recommend this course to any serious player as it would be far to easy for them and secondly it is not well maintained. The course is okay for a novice or basic player getting to grips with the game, but for the more advanced player you would be better off trying either Whitwick or Breedon golf courses which are both nearby. Aside from the driving range and golf course they also operate a small but well stocked club shop, a crazy golf course which is a fun thing to do with friends or family and a bar, which shows live sport and is usually fairly quiet. A nice way to wind down after a session at the range!

The course is shadowed in parts by massive pine trees, jolly green giants towering above you while you balance your next shot.
