This temperence society has alot of issues. When my family started going there, right off the bat the old bitties that 'reside' in the dinner room looked down upon us. Almost all the members are over the age 68, and they are extremely rude. They first invited us ( two adults and two children) over for a swim in the lake. But, when we got there, my husband was told that he had to be a sauna ticket in order for us to swim. the second weekend we were told that we had to pay for everyone to use the sauna in order to swim, the third time we were told we had to not only pay for the sauna, but also the dinner that we didnt plan on eating.
Long story short- they are a group of people that would be great friends with you if you were 65 and rich. If you have children of any age or do not want to drop 50-75 dollars on swimming and sauna in 5 hours, don't bother. just a bunch of bitties that want your money- not your company. read more
