The only reason I put one star is because I could not put none. Chaplins removals seemed like a…read moregood company online, as they have selected reviews shown on their website. Although, when I dealt with them, they charged more than the quote and didnt give back the rest of the money, they failed to know where to park when unloading the vehicle, and they act on their own basis in regards to the items without consulting the customer. In my case they took my stuff back to their offices and refused to give it to me unless i paid the full move price again, claiming that the unloading part of the move was inconvenient for them because they had to wait 10 minutes for the door to be opened. They are also unprofessional in the way they treat and talk to the customer and they do not provide any receipts or confirmation papers/emails. I highly advise anyone wanting to move to find another company, there are far better and more honest companies in and around Devon.
