I ordered a schnitzel and something off the snacks menu, the Halve Hahn. The Halve Hahn was basically sandwich ingredients, including bread and cheese. It would have been fine with just beer. The schnitzel was huge. Kölsch (beer) is so small. One glass is not even close to being enough. We also ordered what felt like an overpriced bottle of still water. The location is convenient, right next to the train station. There is a parking lot nearby with free parking for a limited time, before they start charging 50 cents. Not bad at all. As with most places here, smoking is allowed outside, so just hope that no one lights up too close to you while you are there.

The sauce is the best I've ever had, with a powerful flavor which goes perfectly with the beef, red cabbage & potato dumplings. Each part of the dish is served separately, which is a nice touch. Service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is quiet. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the excellent food. This place seems to be frequented by locals, or at least other Germans. We seemed to be the only obvious tourists there.
