We are bespoke picture and mirror framers offering a broad range of services including mounting, framing, display cases, and even installation on site. Our clients include galleries, hotels, artists, photographers and retailers around Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London and the South East of England. We are also very pleased to meet the public, who are always welcome to visit our workshop and gallery in Uckfield.
History
Established in 2004.
With over thirty years' experience, our framers certainly know how to make the very best of every job. We can create frames from standard mouldings, or make something very special in our own workshop, utilising hand finishing techniques to produce unique effects. Our background is in art and design, and we have earned an enviable reputation over the years for innovative solutions, quality and presentation. We strive to create elegant yet practical solutions when presented with new challenges, and overall believe we offer great value for money, whatever job we are working on. So whether your need is for one frame or a hundred, an ordinary 10×8 photo frame or a bespoke oak over-mantle mirror, we will produce a result you are delighted with.
Uckfield Framing Company expanded into its current premises in 2004; an enviable 2000 sq ft modern industrial unit, equipped with specialist framing equipment, and a separate wood/metal workshop. We have a small gallery, sales and reception area
Meet the Business Owner: Tim B.
Tim Benians, the company founder, followed a commercial design career path after graduating from Ravensbourne College of Art. He has worked for 25 years as a furniture and interior design consultant to major multinational companies such as McDonalds, Applebees and KFC. His enduring love of design and production has brought him back to his roots at Uckfield Framing Company.
