UCBC Oktoberfest is my favorite Oktoberfest in the city, hands down! We spent Sunday there, which I'll have to say was significantly less busy than Friday or Saturday, but in a good way.
You can get beer at various stations on the couple blocks surrounding UCBC. Each station had different beer options. There were even more beer options inside the tasting room, including a cider for people who want to attend the festival but aren't huge beer drinkers. If you have a stein, bring it. Tons of people have them in hand. If you want a signature UCBC stein you can buy them at the merch tent.
There were 3 corn hole games set up for folks to play a game or two with their buddies. This provided a fun activity next to a stage where a live band played music throughout the day and a few hits that everyone loved to dance and sing to.
The beer garden was open, so we ate our snacks on the benches in the shade. All around beautiful time and thankfully the weather was just right!
Cha Cha chow food truck was serving up some delicious food. We had their Fire Fries- fries smothered in cheese, sour cream, and fresh diced jalapeños. Holy smokes they were hot, but good. We also had their tacos verdes, and those were delicious, as well. Another great year in the books! read more
