My medical history has become very complicated and I was worried that no doctor would want to take on my case. From the moment I entered their practice I felt an incredible calm wash over me. Calming music fills the waiting area. The front desk staff are absolutely lovely and always pleasant. There is no room full of people waiting to be seen because the appts. are scheduled to ten minutes each. This is a win/win for both patients being seen on time and for the doctors not stressed out because numerous patients are waiting! As for Dr. Melissa Ng she was so welcoming. Upon meeting her, I felt a huge sigh of relief that I was finally in competent hands. She immediately questioned whether I had my pneumonia and shingles vaccinations and sent off a prescription to my local pharmacy. Dr. Ng followed through on test requests that were supposed to have been ordered and had not been. She is sharp as a tack yet totally empathetic and non-judgemental. We are systematically going through my medical issues and I feel that I have my health back under control. Dr. Melissa Ng is my miracle.

But Dr. Cindy Lee has proven she is gentle, knowledgeable, and very professional. I'm very lucky to have her. The only problem with this clinic is that it's very hard to make an appointment. With being such a great doctor, everyone is trying to get a piece of her time. her usual online booking availability is a week away, by then most normal colds and flus would've been gone. You can try calling, but their calling system isn't hooked up the right way and it just takes you do a voice messaging system. I haven't tried emailing yet, but it might work! You honestly just have to keep trying? Once you've made an appointment, Dr. Cindy Lee is really great at being on schedule and you won't even wait long! Also, all the staff at Little Medical Mountain is so nice and so sweet! They're always just smiles and really enjoy patients! Ps. Becky, I love you!

I was SO lucky to be referred to Dr. Brian Yau here (and lucky that he was taking new patients, too). In the past, when I lived in Seattle, it took me a while to find doctors and dentists that I "clicked" with. I always felt that it takes a team effort - me and my doctor, - to be most effective in my staying/being healthy. So it's critical that I'm comfortable with my doctor to talk openly with him or her. It's in my best interest to "click" with him/her. And it's critical that he/she be knowledgeable, receptive, accessible and helpful. Bonus if the office staff is friendly and works with me and my schedule. Dr. Yau and his office staff are all these things, and more. They've fit me in the Dr's schedule ASAP when I needed to be seen. Dr. Yau is working with my WA doctors to follow up on past conditions and provide continuity of care. He takes the time to patiently go over all the many ways the system here differs from that in the States, and helps me navigate my way here re: blood work, referrals to other medical specialists, etc. He's also been incredibly helpful for my daughter, too. Another bonus here: Dr. Yau is incredibly prompt. (I always get irked when kept waiting and waiting, appointment after appointment, at doctors' and dentists' offices. It's as if my time isn't respected at all. Sure, once in a while is understandable but when it happens regularly, it really rubs me the wrong way). Dr. Yau has always seen me within 5 minutes of our appointment time. To me, that is yet another sign that he cares about his patients. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yau and the office staff here. My only caveats (which are admittedly minor): no free parking or validated parking here, and no wi-fi in the office (bummer). Otherwise, this practice here is stellar. I consider myself super lucky to be a patient here.

It took me years to find a Dr that would take on new patients and to luck out and find the most amazing Dr in the city is just amazing! The reception is great, they are friendly and helpful. After being to a lot of clinics with extremely rude receptionists this really tips the scales in their favor! They always work with me to find an appointment that will suit my schedule which is really important for me since I don't live or work close to the office (but it's worth the travel!) I believe one of the locums I saw Dr. Bergman now works in the office as well so if you are looking for a male Dr he is also amazing!

This guy has ADD or he's trying to kill me LOL…read more I went to see my regular doctor for two separate issues with my feet. The doctor suspected I had a mild case of gout on my right foot, so he was going to prescribe some meds for that issue. For my left foot, I was in excruciating pain for days after I walked on it for a longer period of time or lifted anything heavy.  I could barely walk at all and his solution was sending me to an orthopedist to get a pair of orthotics.  He also gave me a prescription for the pain. 3 things wrong with this; 1.- He forgot to give me the prescription for my right foot 2.- Did he hear that I'm not able to walk?, Shouldn't I get an ultrasound to see what might be causing the severe pain? A pair of orthotics is his solution, come on! 3.- He has been my doctor for about 4 years and he has my chart that says in big bold letters, severe allergy to Advil and Aspirin; good thing the pharmacist informed me that the medication he prescribed has those ingredients!  This was the 3rd time he has made this mistake. I'd better leave him before he sends me to hospital!

Not used to not having to pay for every little thing regarding health care, I was compelled to make a financial donation after my visit as both a thank-you & a way to support what is a very necessary women's institution. When I inquired, I was told that the collective would gladly accept a donation of women's clothing. Preferring to make a monetary donation, I was sent to chat with the clinic's director. PayPal would be the way to go, if one is so inclined.
