My only gripe was the meat prices...ground beef was pushing $9/lb, which is wild to me! I get this is a Publix and it is located in a tourist town, but sheesh! Good quality, as always, but this combined with a few other increased price tags had me in my feelings at checkout. Service is always top notch here. She said "Oh, that promotion doesn't work." I asked her what? Wondering what that meant - with regards to a digital sign towering over Panama City Beach Parkway that clearly says 3.31 REgular. She repeated "that promotion doesn't work). I needed gas, and so pumped @ $3.61 and thought what the heck does that mean? Surely a digital display can be changed WHILE we're TALKING!... no? This property is new, beautiful and the market is half the size of Publix (I exaggerate, but seriously BIG. And so also - as is the recent ploy - no paper receipts at the pumps - so I had to go inside again. I asked for the corporate telephone number and she said - I needed to go onto the website. I did, I called - Full circle - no accountability. SAD. I will; not go back to a 76 station again. I am 72 - and have been trusting 76 for a long time. Well not any more. To my shock they had some old forestor single barrel store picks for mrsp cost. These are bottles that do not hit shelves back home in Kentucky. With a limit 1 I did the right thing and stopped by the next few days and To my surprise they still had stock so I loaded up. Outside of that one day the store had shenks homestead 2023 bottle at mrsp which is another rare and extremely hard to find bottle. Especially at non secondary pricing. The overall bourbon selection was plentiful and large and they had some nice hard to get bottles. I was very happy with the bottles I landed on this trip and will absolutely recommends this shop to anyone who visits the area. Overall a large, clean, well stocked and well maintained liquor store with friendly workers.
