I went with two friends in the middle of the week in the early afternoon and by the time we left, the place was packed, mostly with families. What's more, they all seemed to know each other and the proprietor, who, by the way, was extremely kind and took the time to chat with our group when we had a gazillion questions about the origins of churros (apparently this is still under debate) and how they're made. One of my companions and I had both grown up eating churros in our respective places of origin, which made the experience even more special.
