My work schedule makes it very difficult for me to access financial institutions during business…read morehours, so had been using their online banking for years without any problems, but since they "upgraded" it, I have not been able to access my account. Each time it happens, I have to wait for someone to call during business hours in order to get it reset, but then the next time I attempt to use their "It's Me24 Hrs", I have to go through the same frustrating process. This has been going on for months, I have complained about it multiple times, but today when I tried to access my account, it happened again. Not sure if the seemingly blatant disregard of my complaints is related to mismanagement, but if you need online access to your accounts, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

A family member had previously taken out a used vehicle loan. The loan officer in charge of…read moreeverything is named Tonia. She was lazy and did not do all research necessary for the purchase of this vehicle and had assured my family member that she was "good to go and everything is all good" to go get the new car. She gave her the bank check and sent her on her way to get the vehicle. My family member had, beforehand, told her that she would need to sell her current vehicle after getting the new one and she okayed that. After she got the new vehicle and went down to the bank to sign the title off, her previous assures quickly changed. She refused to sign the title off and had changed everything she said before saying that her debt ratio no longer balanced out (which is the complete opposite of what she told her less then a week before). They now tell her she needs to refinance her loan at a 9.45% interest rate. So now, basically, she is screwed and stuck with two vehicles due to this one specific loan officers lack of ethic to work. Screw you peninsula

The loan needed to be approved in a couple days. She knew that but didn't care.

They were a great bank until they switched to corporate. They have taken money out of my mothers…read moreaccount and gave it to the wrong account and made her wait months before getting it back. The only way she was able to get it back was by having to start talking to lawyers. For me they now hold onto every single check I recieve to make sure the check is good even if its from the Government of the State of Michigan. It really is a shame, they were a great bank until they switched.
