I posted one 4 years ago so this is a second review and I don't know if it will post properly. As mentioned in the previous one, one needs to know it's not climate controlled so it may dictate what you feel comfortable storing there (I briefly had a piano there at one time but I wouldn't have wanted to leave it long term). Only one hiccup in the many years I've used the facility, so that's pretty good. Customer service is excellent, and that is extremely important to me.

They keep a coffee pot ready for new friends and make the storage itself into a community of friends and not just a place to keep your stuff. If not at their posts behind the counter you can find them keeping the area spotless. The only fault I can find is that head office is slow to help them take care of their clients. To get a repair done takes head office months to say OK. THE STAFF TRIES SO HARD TO MAKE THE PLACE A FIVE STAR Place , It is sad the head office does not help their staff, like the staff helps the clients.

I still try to comprehend why we went from roughly 8 hours estimate to pack and download to 13.5…read morehours. Multiply that by 250$ Kevin the owner is not good at providing proper estimates. Very polite and I am sure he will politely respond here as he did privately. The 1/2 drive charge before and after is a cost that is being added after the fact not in original discussions. (Happened both for packing and move) After my correspondence with him on the extra hours he turned the blame on me that the packing was not done right (unorganized) and the van was parked a bit further away from entry for download. As per packing, his own team were involved in packing majority of our stuff. They spent 5 hours the week before. Furthermore the big portion of our stuff was already stored in their pod since July. Yes They were still many boxes left in our house but very little furniture to move: - piano, dining table, 3 disassembled beds, 1 sofa, 1 coffee table, 2 bed side tables, 2 book shelves, one drawer, 3 chairs , one bbq , one lawn mower and one tv So I still don't get why it cost us this much time and money. Yes we were in unfortunate state that the spot in front was taken. That for sure slowed things down, but not 4-5 hours extra. Yes I made the stupid move to watch my kids around 6 pm instead of watching them for entire time so I let them do the download on their own. Did the download actually took from 3 to 8 pm no breaks?! I would like to believe they were truthful. I tried to resolve this with Kevin privately. . We ageeed that the guys worked hard and took only their claimed 30 min break! I raised the issue of lack of management and proper estimates and that needs to be fixed and for that I need to be compensated. He offered me future discount for a future move !!!! (Which basically is a very pretend polite way of dismissing me) I moved with this company 20'years ago. I was happy enough. That's why I went to them this time. But I will never recommend them again as it will turn to be very costly.

But I can't blame them as it was a last minute call to get them do this job. Came right on time for loading and delivery as well. Unloaded and to my surprise, nothing was broken and nothing was missing (as mentioned in previous comments). Cost of moving from BC to Seattle was reasonable. All togather I would recommend them! More reasonably priced than most. I have been with them for years. Loading dock is equipped for all truck trailer sizes. Easy unloading, lots of large flat bed carts available. And easy access to lockers. They are good reasonable people.

More than a month later and after going to Sentinel Storage on Bridegway THREE times and being promised phone calls with answers and explanations, requesting a credit to me account and being told by the manager that he had to check with his regional Manager - I have nothing but more frustration. Absolutely the worst customer service! Drove over for some…read morebubble wrap and walked in while one woman was slowly getting served at the desk and another guy was browsing the shelves. Grabbed my wrap and stood behind the desk waiting my turn. The customer service rep acknowledged my existence and asked if that's all that I was buying and informed that it wasn't refundable and went back to her customer. Then the browsing guy finished and stood somewhat behind me so I asked if he wanted to go in front of me, to which he declined. The original customer left, I proceeded forward but was stopped by the rep saying she was going to help the browsing guy first because he walked in before me. I started to mention that he was actually behind me but she snapped at me and didn't let me speak further. So I walked out. Obviously fairness, politeness and good customer service is not a top priority for Key. Perhaps they don't need my money. That's ok. I went around the corner to Maple Leaf- I was in and out in a minute, got a smile and a quick packing tip as a bonus. Guess who will be getting my monthly locker storage budget in the future...
