On U1, it is between Westfriedhof (toward Olympia-Einkaufszentrum and Rotkreuzplatz (toward Mangfallplatz). On the U7, the same stations but the terminus beyond Rotkreuzplatz is Neuperlach Zentrum. The south on Schellingstraße and the north on Ludwigstraße/Akademiestraße. The station is between Odeonsplatz (toward Fürstenried West or Klinikum Großhadern) and Giselastraße (toward Moosach or Garching-Forschungszentrum). The station has island platforms.
