A fairly good Boots store in Grosvenor Centre, Macclesfield, again it isn't the most modern of…read morelocations but the product range and pricing are both OK, and the store is a good addition to the town centre and will be useful to the local people who don't have time/resources to travel to a bigger/better store in a larger town/city. The staff seem friendly enough, it is a shame this store does shut rather early at 5:30 during the week, which rules out access to the pharmacy, but this seems to be common practice in smaller towns. 3* - Decent store, nothing too special but certainly a nice addition to the town.

I then had to endure a string of Dreadful, awful, other local pharmacies. Cohen's chemist, the large one under the medical centre being the absolute worst anyone could ever imagine! I am a single disabled lady. with quite a large complicated list of regular monthly medications. This has been my first month with them, my prescription was ordered and collected in a very timely manner, without me needing to make 1 million phone calls. All 18 items were requested without any being missed off or left out. They were polite well mannered and extremely helpful and professional both on the phone and in person, and my medication was delivered to my door in a very timely manner with no problems what so ever. It has been 6 months, and 3 chemists since i have had a service this good, with no problems, and a chemist with staff and delivery service that rates 10/10.

There is also a photo desk at the back of the shop where you can print photos and get photo gifts. There is also a chemist where you can pick up prescriptions. The staff are freindly and always willing to help. The only downside of this shop is the price as it tends to be more expensive than places like superdrug. However you can collect Boots points and use them to get items for free.

This is a small Boots location, after security at Manchester Airport Terminal 1. It's a useful stop…read moreto get any last-minute toiletries, beauty items or bottled drinks and snacks ahead of your flight. The prices for drinks seemed between 10-15% more than a regular Boots location, a little expensive but still priced competitively for the Airport. The store feels modern like it has been refreshed lately and it's easy to find what you need, although the store is small so it shouldn't be too difficult anyway. The selection in the store again seemed fine, I was able to get what I was looking for, but that was just a Lipton Iced Tea and cola. There are only manned checkouts here, I prefer a balance of both a staffed checkout and self-service, the latter is especially important for a travel environment where customers will be in a rush and I find this easier in general. PRO TIP: Use Boots' click-and-collect service to order your toiletries and other items here. If you allow enough time you can do this and avoid paying the inflated Airport prices. 3*

Especially when there's a Boots in the same terminal where you can go and buy the exact products again. Hate to sound like a skeptic but something doesn't add up here, folks. There's never anyone queing up to buy plasters or toothpaste in this Boots, it's always ladies reluctantly forking out to replace their toiletries and make-up!
