Other than the price - this Starbucks has pretty much everything else nailed, although it is a real shame they don't accept Starbucks cards from the UK/US/Canada and co here - with Sweden operating their own scheme - SSP began opening branches in Sweden back in 2010, the 53rd country to have Starbucks - it is a real shame that although many Starbucks locations franchised by SSP in the UK do accept Starbucks cards, it's still a shame they don't here. It was pretty much a mall kiosk in terms of structure but it did have a lot of seating. For a mall Starbucks, it was pretty good - normally I find my drinks at a shopping centre location taste rushed, with the service also affected but the staff seemed friendly - they spoke well English and I just noticed how they trained the employee as she made my drink - this is a pretty hard task to do while still making sure the drink is up to satisfaction, especially as they try to focus on the trainee's involvement but they managed it. I ordered a Venti Iced Pumpkin Cold Foam macchiato, which is a new drink in Autumn 2020 - Sweden like most European countries seems to offer the same menu as the UK/France. Overall, one of the better Starbucks locations I've visited outside of the UK - but it still struggles to represent value for money with dozens of outlets around Stockholm and probably even within the Taby Centrum mall, of which this store is located in where you can get a coffee for a fraction of the price. 4*

Literally starbucks just lost a regular customer and i actually think that espresso house is much tastier and has better customer service than starbucks. They did have the ongoing offer where you buy a machine cheap as long as you commit to buying the coffee pods - I'm not sure how this compared to the offer in the UK and western europe. Perhaps not as large or interactive as other Nespresso stores, they should really be doing more to get customers in and showcase the coffee and machines, but still a useful brand in its' location as I didn't see many branches around Sweden. 2*

But no matter, the Systembolaget (which is Swedish for "very clean, even sterile, snack-free liquor store") is right next door. Some things we noticed: one of us (Englishwoman) was a bit taken aback by the man with no shirt on gleefully purchasing booze. Others of us thought the prices were very reasonable. And yet others found the nice young guy with the perfect English who appeared not to actually drink surprisingly helpful -- everything he recommended was very good. Overall a deeply satisfying cultural experience, just what we came to Sweden for.

I was actually pleasantly surprised to see a pretty large, well-equipped department of sparkling wines and champagnes.
