Out of my massive network of friends and acquaintances, I know a good amount of realtors. But I didn't hire any of them. I wanted Kathlyn! Kathlyn Curtis came as a referral from one of my closest friends who knows Kathlyn from her past life as a tax attorney. "Kathlyn will fight tooth and nail for you," my girlfriend told me. "I've seen her with clients." I was also informed because of her law background, she's meticulous, great with contracts and negotiations. Hired. Kathlyn is also a 5th-generation Houstonian. Which translates to she knows Houston! I mean, as the Yelp CM for Greater Houston and a native Houstonian myself, I thought I knew Houston - but Kathlyn Curtis truly knows H-town Realestate: the neighborhoods, schools, history, demands/trends, builders, developers, contractors... I appreciated all of the insight and feedback she gave to me. There was one particular home that I had high interest in, and she flat out told me she wasn't comfortable selling me a home in that particular neighborhood. And she was right. Crime report was pretty bad. In the end, after house hunting for a few months, I was able to close on my dream casa. Well, my starter home. Nex thome will have a pool. ;) Overall, start to finish Kathlyn was 5-stars. She works hard, she knows Realestate and I'm so grateful I hired her!

I was very impressed about her knowledge of the real estate markets, various areas within Houston, and details on each home. As this was our family's first home purchase she provided unbiased guidance on which area to buy in, what the process entailed, and advocated for us when negotiating the sale. Kat and her staff are very passionate about the Houston Real Estate market and it shows in everything they do. I will use her again to purchase and sell any real estate going forward in Houston and would/have recommended her to my friends and family who are in the process of purchasing a home.

As a first time home seller, I was unaware of the steps in the selling process for the Texas real estate market because I live in California and Kevan guided me through it all. Selling a home is stressful, especially when the house was ruined by a prior tenant and needed to be totally remodeled. From the very beginning, Kevan was calm, objective, professional, and gave me great advice and referred me to amazing contractors who saved me a lot of money and made my house beautiful again. Even after finding a buyer who had an inexperienced agent, Kevan made sure the escrow process and closing deal went through very smoothly. He sold my house within weeks of the initial listing! I highly recommend Kevan and am very grateful for all that he did to get my house sold!

My sister let me know about Valmy and his team and I'm so impressed with the professionalism. Valmy is so patient answering all of the questions that come with purchasing a home (apparently the rules are different when its a second home and it's considered an "investment property"). Bottom line, if you want a realtor who will be incredibly patient with your questions and all the homes you want to tour, Valmy is the way to go. Always pleasant, knows the ins and outs about Missouri city Texas, and Sugar Land which are the 2 areas I wanted to purchase my house in. I'm not a native of Texas so I really wanted someone knowledgeable. And he was! I used his site to save my favorite listings, and it shoots it over to him right away so I don't have to keep emailing him my list of homes I want to tour. I even got to meet his family. I guess I'm just really happy with the experience over all. God willing I'll be a second home buyer by November when escrow closes. Hope that helps anyone still trying to decide on a good realtor.

It turns out he that finding him was the best thing that could've happened with my real estate search.Even though he was tied up in a personal matter the evening of our first conversation, he still took the time to treat me professionally and genuinely listened to my needs. I honestly did not expect him to answer the phone because it was well past normal business hours yet he still made time for me and scheduled an immediate appointment for us to discuss exactly what I was searching for. Set expectations were clearly met and he followed thru on everything promised. The Houston market for my price range is very competitive. So when I found the perfect house in my desired neighborhood and price range, David was creative and innovative with the offer and presenting it to the selling agent. I have no doubt that his expertise resulted in my offer being placed in a competitive situation which allowed me to purchase that perfect house. Following this transaction I know I met someone that is incredibly competent and personable and takes his job seriously. Items were handled and checked off the list before I could even mention the item needing attention. For example, my previous house owners needed to temporarily lease the house while they close on their new property, and David arranged all of the lease nuances so closing did not turn into an issue with my lender. I am fortunate to consider him a friend following this transaction.
