My daughter felt comfortable especially when they explained to her what was going to be done to her teeth, she felt more relaxed after that. I loved the place very professional neat and great customer service! Very awesome keep up the good work & thank you!!

I had to take her to an urgent dental place that was not in network with her insurance. they once again did X-rays and informed me that she had a huge abscess!!!! and she had to have 2 of her teeth removed. the dentist at this new facility told me that they don't understand how it could of gotten missed on an X-ray. I paid $400 for this treatment!!! I called and spoke with the office manager who one did not even apologize for their mistake and two said that they took only X-rays of the LOWER TEETH. But the doctor looked completely in her mouth at her teeth and didn't see the hole in the tooth. unbelievable!! I will never ever go back.

I scheduled a dental appointment for my child with Pediatric Dental Care only after calling to…read moreconfirm they were in-network with both of our dental insurance plans. Their staff told me they were in-network -- but for some reason, I received a bill for $1,100 because they were actually out-of-network the entire time. They stated on the phone after the fact they are not in net-work with ANY insurance. When I disputed the bill, their office deflected responsibility, pointed to a form I signed after being misinformed, and refused to put anything in writing -- including my request not to send the balance to collections so I could try to work with insurance on paying anything more. We've spent weeks trying to resolve this calmly, including phone calls, emails, and escalation to insurance. They've refused to take accountability and just go in circles. What's worse is I've since learned other military families in the area have had the same experience. This seems to be a pattern of either staff giving out false information or intentionally misleading patients who rely on insurance to make medical decisions to then make more money. I've now filed formal complaints with the Indiana State Dental Board, Better Business Bureau and Attorney General Consumer Protection office. If you're a military or insurance-reliant family, I strongly caution you to get everything in writing before trusting this provider. This experience has caused financial stress and anxiety we should never have been subjected to. Update: After weeks of back and forth, two hours after posting public reviews regarding my billing dispute, I received a phone call from Dr. Karr herself. During that call, she made it clear that the only reason she was reaching out was because of the reviews -- not because of my repeated email outreach or my earlier attempts to resolve the issue. She refused to acknowledge that her staff could have given me incorrect information regarding insurance coverage and blamed the insurance companies for the balance due. She claimed that writing off or adjusting the charge would be "insurance fraud," which I have since learned is misleading. At no point did she accept any responsibility, nor did she offer a resolution other than asking me to make payments or getting care credit. I left the call feeling invalidated, patronized, and more concerned than ever about the misleading practices at this office. We left the 45 minute conversation with her telling me she was going to speak with Amber and follow up with me next week. I feel sick to my stomach about this whole situation.

VERY DECEITFUL!! My…read morefamily and I just moved to the area and were looking for a pediatric dentist. When I called Dr. Karrs Office, they told me our insurance was out of network but they will still "follow the fee schedule", I asked them to explain what they meant and they told me we would owe about $8-$10 per child, so I scheduled my 3 younger children. They had their appointments, I was told my son needed a tooth pulled and they would do it right then. I asked how much this would cost and they said "oh, only a little bit more". I asked for a specific amount but they wouldn't tell me. On my way out, they told me my balance came to $150!! I was very frustrated, but was in a hurry to get the kids to their activities, so I paid it and left. THAT WASNT THE WORST PART!! I am now getting bills for $180!! Apparently, they gave all 3 of my children fluoride treatments (which they knew were NOT covered by an out of network insurance) without asking me. They just did it and it was $60 per child additional. I had several conversations with the front desk staff explaining how this isn't fair, its sneaky, and it is NOT how to run a business. They didn't care and I'm still expected to pay an additional $180 when I was told it would be $8-$10. We will NOT be going back!!!

I have received no communication back about scheduling appointments. They keep saying they'll call me back once they talk to the doctor, yet never do. When I call to check in, it always seems like a bother and the reason I wait on a call back is because they say I "missed an appointment" in the past (don't recall), but I believe it's personal. A family friend we referred to got a lawyer involved for an abuse case against them. I took 5 of my children here and they are not understanding of life! To not give any warning of being dropped at the time of us going there, then threatened to be dropped when I simply call to schedule, is very confusing. I wanted to stay with this office purely to keep my children with the same dentist since they were toddlers but there have been quite a few red flags here. My son overheard the ladies in the back call a little girl a "B****"!! I was shocked and apologized to my son for having to hear that. Mind you, adults are not allowed to go back with their children.. My youngest son was terrified of going back to the dentist.. He came out with red marks and bruises all over his hands and arms. When his father called to question it, they said they strapped him down with velcro (without our consent). Our son was terrified from their aggressive actions and though I regret it.. We still continued with their office and made excuses for them assuming it was our sons adhd. We assumed it was unintentional and asked next time if our child is scared, to go get one of us so we can calm their nerves instead of forcefully strapping them down. Next, a family friend took their child, paid thousands of dollars out of pocket, just for the same thing to happen to her child. Only worse! The pictures of abuse are so frightening. He had burns on his mouth and hands!! It was before his 5th birthday so now all his pictures from his party showcase this horrific memory. We had endless questions from our family. I will not bother calling back, but now I've decided to share our unfortunate truth. I was going to keep it to myself since we've had such a long relationship, but it seems like the right thing to do is to inform on what really goes on behind the scenes. I believe not every child is treated the same, there's favoritism. We will find a safe dentist who truly cares about the wellbeing of their patients.

I communicates that she has issues with strangers and cries easily with them when making the appearance. I was trying to talk to her and calm her and she spoke loudly and sternly, saying, "Come on, get in the chair!" My daughter began crying even more and held on to me tighter. I picked her up and set her in the chair. While I continued to speak calmly to my daughter she became impatient and said, "are we done here?" Oh, I forgot the first part. When she walked in the room her first thing she said was that my daughter has eight cavities and that they need to be taken care of so that the school doesn't call child services on me. Now I have take my daughter to the dentist at least twice a year since she was two. They never told me she had a cavity until a couple is weeks ago and I made an appointment at this office because they specialize in pediatric dentistry and they are close to our home. It was a shock she would say something like that. I told her that her last dentist let her sit on my lap in the chair while they looked at her teeth. I thought that might help her crying again. She responded with she is too old for that now. That is when she grabbed her arm and tried to pull her and put her into the chair. I asked her not to do that as my daughter is scared and it is not helping the situation. My daughter just cried louder and held me tighter when she did that. I was just incredibly shocked by the impatient, uncaring, and abrasive manner of a dentist who has worked with children for years.
