After reaching out to the APS team, they responded back to us within 24 hours letting us know they were backed up with project requests but that they had availability to start looking at our project in a few weeks. And just like they promised, they came back a few weeks later with a proposal on the work with a detailed breakdown of what to expect. On the day of them coming out to our property they arrived on-time and finished quickly, and then were fast to respond to all questions we had during the follow-up process of creating our property's topographic map. All in all we were very impressed with the level of professionalism, quality, and responsiveness this team had, and would recommend them to our friends if they ever needed a surveyor.

Next, the on-site guy wouldn't do what was asked by the other guys. He only wanted to do what he wanted, his way. When that didn't work for the other guys and we called the office they would blame us for their guy being a jerk. The gal would accuse multiple guys of being "condescending" to try and divert from the issue at hand. When we spoke with the owner, he again would try and divert from the issue, he wouldn't even let us explain our concerns before he hung up. The on site guy haphazardly rushed through some of his staking, not writing all the information on the markers and then walked off the job site. Very unprofessional. This is a company that has gone downhill lately, it's sad to see. It seems as if they are very stressed out and take it out on their customers rather than try and explain or educate their customers. To not even have the decency to talk about it and hang up on the customer? Seriously? I would definitely NOT recommend this train wreck. In fact I called another client immediately after this to recommend NOT using them after I'd given him their number several days ago. BAD EXPERIENCE! There are too many other good surveyors out there with the heart of a teacher then to get stuck with outfit.

Now they're trying to charge us more, or not complete the job as originally requested. Originally we requested an as-built easement 5ft on each side for a new waterline and mentioned we had a trace wire that could be used to get the exact location. Instead they created a much wider easement on my property than I previously had. I've emailed several times to remedy because any time I call I can't get a hold of Joe.

I interviewed 3 different surveyor companies and chose CSI to complete this work. The scope and time frame was reviewed with each organization mostly all had very full work commitments which is expected during all the current building activity within the local area. I was given expected time frame from CSI that would support my legal activity as it progressed. They also were very helpful in the "education" of "exact" needs for legal actions of various types along with the requirement of filing final product exhibits and property descriptions variance. Working together towards the final product in a detailed and defined manner also resulted in a mutual agreement on the estimated cost. This supported both of our objectives and resulted in a timely but not pushed product that I can now present in a validated legal means. I would recommend CSI to perform such services if asked and also remind those that ask that if you want something really bad most likely that is the product you may end up with at a greater cost. To be transparent, we are property owners, so this review is from the owner's point of view. Having said that, he's been proactive in making sure the rental house is in a good shape, including regular annual maintenance. This is to ensure tenants get what they pay for. One thing David really stands out is his responsiveness and timely communications. Tips: believe it or not, best way to contact him is via email. He'll call me as soon as he's available whenever I ask him to call me via email. His email responses are mostly cryptic and straight to the point, and some folks may take that differently. But for us, we like his cut-to-the-chase, no-nonsense style. Believe us, we have had a different property manager before, and he may seem courteous, but his responsiveness and professionalism are not even close to David's.
