I was new to acupuncture and David did a great job explaining and showed empathy. Also, didn't seem to mind my hairy back and was a professional. Excellent care. Felt great the next day. read more

I've been seeing Paula for over 4 months now. She's a healer. I look forward to my appointments and time with her. I've had many acupuncture appointments and believe that with her help and expertise I was able to get pregnant, after struggling to conceive. Additionally, I had Mayan abdominal massage from Paula. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to having it again later in my pregnancy. The practice is beautiful. You walk in and are immediately relaxed. The rooms are dimly lit with "cloud" decor above each room. Relaxing noise machines are used in each room and I'm always given an eye mask to relax and melt away. I highly recommend visiting!!! read more

David has been helping me work through a few back issues and is so understanding and listens well. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. These appointments are totally worth the hour and 10 minute round trip I have to make to see David- and if you know me I can't stand driving. I highly recommend Two Trees Acupuncture! read more

On May 17th I was having awful pains in the middle of my back. I knew what it was... I'd done it before... pain during deep breaths, a little pain while walking... I'd popped a rib out of joint while lifting weights... DANG IT! I called my friend Ashley (who works at Two Trees) and asked if she could get me in... she could not, but told me to call and schedule a Tui Na session with David Bonilla... You must understand, I trust Ashley implicitly... this was a no-brainer... I scheduled for 5:30 and met David there! The facility is tucked away in a shopping center in Plaza Midwood... just use GPS and you'll find it with no problem! I walked in and it felt like a professional clinic should; clean, friendly, well lit, inviting, etc... David walked me back to our session room where there was a massage table fitted with a cozy fleece blanket... We discussed my ailment, he popped me onto the table, and started pulling and gently tugging my limbs... then massaging into my spine and ribs to see where everything was... after a few moments and twists and pulls... SNAP! AAAAAAH!!!! My rib was back in place again!! Then he asked about my hips hurting, and I said that YES, my left hip gives me some trouble... a few more positioning twisty moves and POP! AAAAAAAH!!!!! The tension released and my lower back and left hip felt normal again! I know now that tui na is an ancient Chinese manipulative therapy akin to (but not the same as) chiropractic medicine. I am beyond relieved that I went, I will be back again, and I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are experiencing joint or muscular pain. GO NOW... don't wait 10 years... go now and begin the path back to wellness and a pain free life!! read more

I want to start by saying, I don't leave a ton of yelp reviews. However, after my experience with David at Two Trees Acupuncture there's no way I could not! This office is incredible. Hands down 10 out of 10 from anything to client interaction, knowledge, to the clean facility and zen environment. They truly leave no stone unturned. I went to David to quit smoking, and I have been smoke free since my first treatment. I also have suffered from depression on and off my entire life, Acupuncture has completely changed that. I have honestly never felt better. If you're looking for an acupuncturist, look no further! Two trees rocks!! read more

I've been going to regular sessions (2-3x/month) at Two Trees for 7 months. I started going because of chronic migraines and after my third session I was "cured"! I haven't had a migraine since. I keep going to boost health and work on small body issues (joint pain, stress relief, sleep patterns, etc,) and it has helped with every facet of my health. Paula & David both have a large breadth of knowledge, but have their own individual strengths, as well. Paula specializes in herbal remedies, women's health, fertility treatments and more. David specializes in chronic pain, muscle "manipulation"* and other treatments. Be aware that they do more than just acupuncture, they also do massage treatment, cupping and herbal remedies. If cost is an issue, they offer "community" sessions twice a week. These sessions mean that you don't have a private room, but it is still quiet, relaxing and much less expensive than a private sessions. I believe private sessions are around $60, but community sessions run between $25-$45 depending on what you can afford. If you are seeking alternate treatment, don't hesitate to check out Two Trees! *my terminology may be off, since I am not an expert in Eastern medicine. read more

I had my first acupuncture appointment at Two Trees today and David did a great job. I have been having pain issues in my right shoulder and he used Tui Na to treat my shoulder issue. Based on my positive experience today, I have already scheduled my next appointment. read more

This was my first contact with traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture, etc. The place and the people are warm and welcoming. David has been working with me for the last two visits. I have been coming here for neck, stress issues and a pulled muscle. My job as a personal trainer & business owner is highly physical and can be stressful at times. David used a mix of Tui na (traditional chinese massage) and acupuncture and the relief that I have experienced in two treatments has been amazing. I am looking forward to working with them in the future. read more

Nice and relaxing atmosphere, as well as very nice folks running the place. Acupuncture that is affordable and staff is very knowledgable without being pushy. David is one of the realest people I've met in ages. Can't recommend enough. Support these good people! read more

Such a great place!! Wonderful, professional, clean & calming environment. Very experienced & caring acupuncturists, will not go elsewhere.

I had been going to Two Trees for about one year. Always made my appointments and paid my bill, and got along with David. Only met Paula once briefly. Suddenly I was dropped by a "certified letter". I was not given the respect of a phone call or the reason why I would no longer be treated. This was very unprofessional and not the way to treat a long-time customer. Because of this, I would not recommend this practice if you are seeking reliable, consistent care. Just when you are getting better you may be dropped. read more

I simply love this place. I come here weekly for my "Me" Time. I am a big believer in Eastern Medicine. I do the community acupuncture on Saturdays. The therapists are awesome, professional and knowledgeable. I love the fact that she can do specialty herb blends right on the spot. This space is zen, clean and peaceful from the moment you walk in the door. The community option is affordable. I can go on and on about this place. If you have an ailment that western medicine has not been able to cure or if you want to try alternative methods I definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

After spending 6 weeks in a boot for a pinched nerve in my foot, it was not getting better. Acupuncture was suggested. Not only did it help my foot, Paula and David asked questions about many other problems and helped with those as well. They are great listeners and really want to help you get better. Clean and comfortable. Community room is a great option if you're on a budget! read more

I have been visiting Two Trees Acupuncture for treatment over the last few months. Paula and David are such genuine, lovely people. The tranquil and inviting environment made it easy for me to feel comfortable and relax. In the short time that I have been receiving acupuncture treatment in conjunction with the herbs, I have noticed a night and day difference. My stress levels have improved, I sleep soundly through the night, and I physically feel better than I have in a long time. Recently, I have started using their Heal-Me Skin Salve and I LOVE it! I have had this 4 month old scar (from a nasty fall on ice) that has been healing incredibly slowly. It looked awful so I began using the salve on that injury to start, and it finally looks like it is healing and improving. The skin is not as inflamed and tender as it was before, and I definitely believe it has helped speed up the healing process. Now, I use the salve on my hands every night. As an optician, my hands are exposed to a lot of heat and the occasional mini screwdriver jab leaving me at the end of the day with calluses, burns, and sore fingers. This soothing, herbal ointment has restored the softness and glow back to my skin and I couldn't be happier about it! read more

I went to see David after 5 days of a constant headache and not sleeping. Calming, reassuring, knowlegdable - he gave me some great advice for post treatment. I ACTUALLY SLEPT 6 WHOLE HOURS last night for the first time in a week. My headache is still with me, but it's much better than it was. The office is clean and comfortable. The Community Room is fantastic if you're looking for a more budget friendly option. Can't recommend them enough! My new GO TO!! read more

I have been coming to Two Trees for about 4 and a half months now and have worked with both Paula and David and have enjoyed all of my experiences. I have had community acupuncture as well as cupping done and I am so happy to have found a place where I feel that those providing my services truly care about my well-being. The Community Room is relaxing and the zero gravity chairs are comfortable. If I have questions about my treatment I have always received an answer that was detailed and not just a quick word or two and then moving on quickly. I look forward to continuing to come here and can see why Paula and David continue to be successful! read more
