The parking in front was a little difficult to get into and because it's small, we had to park in the back. The store itself isn't large, but they have a good selection of all the popular alcohol as well as mixers and juices. The prices seemed to be slightly cheaper then some other stores in the area. The guy at the register was friendly but not too talkative nor did he offer any assistance. I'm sure he would have been more the happy to help should we have asked for it. The store was well stocked, organized and clean.

After the 1st liquor store I went to was out of what I was looking for I tried here and it was in stock. The lady with the blue highlights had a bad vibe about them. Don't know what the deal was but I hope it gets better. Usually people say Hi or bye something. They talked to their co-worker or manager the whole time during the transaction. Sitting right next door to an HEB plus allows you to concoct some fabulous cocktails for yourself and your guests for a fraction of the cost of going out. When I was younger the only in depth selection of liquor was Scotch. Most everything else offered just a few varieties of either cheap or very cheap brands. Through the years I've seen Bourbon, American and Canadian whiskies become part of a growing American trend for high end sipping whisky. Vodka has become the drink of choice for most young people and now has too many brands to mention. Tequila offers multiple expensive sipping varieties and now even rum has begun a resurgence with the love of drinks such as the Mojito. When I was a kid buying 6 dollar bottle of Kamchatka i never though I'd see a $50 bottle of Vodka. Still, to be able to find literally hundreds of different brands of liquor from all regions of the world, including some local hill country distillers, right here in a tiny neighborhood is fantastic. Pick up some 10 cane rum from Trinidad, fresh mint, limes, and club soda from next door and go home and have a party. Oh yeah simple syrup is just 1 to 1 sugar to water. I have read a few bad or misleading reviews of Texas Cheer and I have not seen so much bogus…read morereviews. I have dealt with A.D. for YEARS and have an establish a friendship and someone who listens and goes out of his way for their customers, Veterans, Active Duty and law enforcement communities. Cause I am a established customer, if he does not have a certain Scotch, Whisky, Bourbon, Tequila, etc. you are looking for and he does not carry it. He will get it if available to him. Without you paying in advance. He has a vast amount of brands and brand names. His knowledge is on point too. A.D. is also all about family and has strong family values. A.D. also is well know in neighborhoods close to his stores in their online communities. Instead of most business could care less about you. AD is all about community, he always asks about my family and sons. Even my oldest son has been buying from A.D. for the last few years. A.D. and his family at Texas Cheer Liquor are all about being a presence and not just a liquor store.
