We brought in a rod and he set my son up with bait, the right hooks, sinker and some kind of set up in the line and told us where to go for fishing and crabbing. It turned out the line my son had on his rod was dry rotted and we lost the line. We then went back a second time got it relined and new hook and set up on it and back we went.

Take one rainy Saturday down the Jersey shore, and sprinkle in six friends on a girls weekend,and you will get a great memory to take away like an ornament on a Christmas tree. That's right, this is how we greeted RICK, all decked out in our matching pink shirts. I can only imagine his initial thought on the hoard of 50 year olds walking in the gun shop that day. His open mind to teach, inform, and educate us on proper gun handling and safety was not wasted. He took his time with each of us and the firearm of choice. He didn't stop there as he passed us off to fellow workers, DON and BETTY. They eased us into our shooting stalls, one with a 9 mm and one with a 22 caliber. Instructed our group to be each other's support system. IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!! As much as the word shenanigans came up, we keep a professional demeanor in the range. We would never jeopardize anyone's safety or disrespect our teachers of the day. At the end of our time, Betty showed off the hatchet range with the delight. We walked into the store and the three employees said they had "never" seen anything like it before. One of the employees said she had not seen this in "25 years". Brian, the owner is called over and says he sees this "once a week" and there's nothing he can do. He refused to take even a dollar off a used board and said it was our problem. He also said rather obviously untrue things like "I'm already losing $50" on each used board he was selling. I think anyone who can add or subtract knows this isn't the way a business would stay in business, although he obviously has. I would dissuade anyone who thinks this is a reasonable Business - and watch out because he said that you could go out "once" and "for the first time" on the board and have this happen. This is obviously shocking as $700 is a huge amount money I thought would provide years of surfing, especially when going a few times a season. Honestly, very disappointed in the owner as even his own employees were clearly honest when all 3 said they have never seen this.
