I haven't spent a lot of time in the actual gift shop, but it looks pretty typical... lots of Southwestern and Arizona paraphernalia and novelty items. The restrooms are sub-par. Just to get to the women's room I've had to battle obstacles in the narrow hallway, mostly men coming out of the mens room, turning a blind corner around the door they'd been holding open, and running into me. Inside is your usual gross rest stop bathroom you hurry to vacate. All the buildings in this little strip mall (gas station, Subway, Kokopelli's, and I think a couple others) are all connected so you can walk in one end, and come out any of them. Pretty much anything you could need last minute could be picked up here, but I feel confident that if you venture farther into Camp Verde there are less touristy shops that are probably cheaper.

Sedona's Tree House (Sedona, AZ) - June 15, 2023 We rolled…read morein at about 11 am driving down from Flagstaff on Hwy 89A. The first set of parking spaces you come to are on your right. We saw a vacant space, so we grabbed it. It was right in front of a cool little art shop called Sedona's Tree House. Poking your head through the door is enjoyable in and of itself. It's as if you've met up with the Ents of Fangorn Forest (The Hobbit) and have been carried into a magical treehouse dream, with a giant tree climbing up through the middle of the shop. The shelves are cleverly designed from beautifully rough cut and masterfully finished planks held up in some cases with what seem to be branches growing out from under them. Hand crafted Kokopelli wind chimes, nature inspired table and wall art, and various artsy knickknacks of all sorts are beautifully displayed throughout this cozy little treehouse-themed shop. We ended up buying a beautiful sun-themed wind chime for only $25 that we're looking forward to putting up in our courtyard when we get home!

And so my expectations were quite high based on previous experiences. I envisioned strolling through rows and rows of lavender, having seating areas to enjoy the view, and spending a few hours amongst the lavender. That is not what you will get here. This lavender farm is basically a gift shop with an area to view a small amount of lavender plants. They have more behind the house that you can't even see. It's gated off and you're not allowed to walk in the fields. The gift shop is very nice and the ladies working when we went were absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed talking with them. I want to rate this place higher, but there's just not much else to it other than the gift shop. I wish it was more clear ahead of about not being able to go in any of the fields. It's marketed as "visit us at the farm" but really it should be "visit our lavender shop". Plan to spend 20 minutes here- not all day.
