Of course it was outside the warranty period so they still charged some for a rebuilt tranny but would not give a new warranty on it. We're supposed to also fix a leak in the exhaust and replace a malfunctioning sensor, they did neither. Now looking for a new, more dependable vehicle, even though I have only owned this one for 6 months. Do not purchase from these crooks, I should have listened to all of the locals that warned me against it. If customers in the immediate area call you Crook Auto then you should probably take a good long look at your business practices! Paid waaaay too much cash for this money hog!

They said they would get a hold of us and fix those problems in about a month. We were patient, and waited 3 months before we finally contacted them. I called five times before I was able to talk to someone who works in the repair shop. I asked him when we could get the car in for them to fix it, and he told me in about a week. The time finally came, and we dropped off our car early in the morning (before they opened). It took them 3 days to fix those minor problems and we STILL have dents on our car. It's not worth the trouble of taking it back again. I'd never buy another car from here again.

Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.

I had a fuel induction/injector cleaning service (I think that is what it is called lol) and the car is running as good as the day it was brand new. I highly recommend Fred and his crew.
